JBT TPC Weekend was an extremely fun and mentally challenging event. After losing all motivation and confidence the weeks prior, I managed to get myself back together and put up the best scores I possibly could and managed to take 11th!

I practiced on all 4 patterns during the sweepers which followed with the TPC dinner where I won the Mountain
U-17 Player of the Year award which is an amazing feeling.

Bowling my first 5 games on the 34’ I was able to throw enough high quality shots to get myself to 95 over using the Purple Slammer and gain a lot of confidence going into the second block which showed where I proceeded to average 240.5 for 5 games using the Tour Dynam-X which put me to 298 over on the day.

The big scores I had gave me a chance to make the top 4, but the 3rd block kicked my ass to say the least, shooting almost 200 under and losing 4 of the 5 matches, nearly costing myself a spot in the top 16. But nonetheless I stayed in the top 16 and tried my very best to make up all the lost pins and averaged 219 which just missed the top 4 by about 125 pins.

Overall extremely proud of myself on the weekend for being able to step up when I didn’t feel like my confident self and showed myself I’m capable of putting up scores and for never giving up on myself! by @gavin_finley08

Bowled the march madness tournament at coal creek and ran away with the W. Started off with a 603 going into qualifying, and then proceeded to average 247 for the next 6 games all the up into the final where I punched for 236 to take home the win. Threw the @hammerbowling Black Widow 2.0 Solid for all of match play.

Thank you to all of the guys who stayed to support me today.

What an incredible weekend of JBT bowling. I Spent 17 hours in the bowling alley over both days to get 2nd place and my very first JBT title! A extremely mentally grinding weekend where on Saturday I qualified 10th of 12 and had to work my way to the finals where I fell short. Sunday, I bounced back qualifying 4th and after 2 games, I put myself at first for the stepladder where I took it home! All the hard work is paying off but there’s still much more to work on 💪

2024 has been the best and worst year of my life. From what I’ve accomplished to what I’ve lost. But all is necessary to become better. I look forward to 2025 and what it has in store for me! by @gavin_finley08

2024… What a Roller Coaster of a year it was for me. I’ve had tons of ups and downs over this last year and it was the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life. Shot my first two 300’s and finally found some success in tournaments. I also lost many close tournaments and it has been a rough road. Overall this year has definitely been the hardest year mentally as it has been a tough road I’ve worked through. From personal life all the way to the lanes, I’ve worked hard and it has truly started to show. I am so excited to see what’s in store for me in 2025. Until then, the grind won’t stop 🔥

Huge thank you to all of my friends, family and loved ones who are and continue to support my journey, I wouldn’t be here without you all so thank you ❤️ by @gavin_finley08
