“You’re Future Is Whatever You Make It, So Make It A Good One.”- Doc Brown
My time as songfest head has come to end. From busting ghosts to now time travelling, what a journey it has been. Songfest head is not an easy job. It takes a lot to bring a performance of this scale to life. Regardless, I would do it ten times over for this fraternity.
To my brothers: Thank You. I had a vision and you guys brought it to life. It was everything I imagined and more. I am so proud of each and every single one of you. Thank you for believing in me and trusting me to lead you guys. Love you fellas for life.
To everyone who helped: My thanks could never do justice for how grateful I am for the sacrifices made to make this performance the absolute best.
This journey challenged me and Kappa Sigma continues to mold me into a better man.
Songfest Head will forever be one of my favorite titles I’ve ever held and I will cherish these performances forever.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

This summer, I got the chance to work in the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. (aka Disney Summer Alumni Program)

After my incredible first Disney College Program, it was only a matter of time before I came back for round 2. The summer alumni program was the perfect opportunity to get a chance to make the magic once again. This time I was chosen to be in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
If you know me, you know Disney has always meant so much to me and one of my biggest reasons why is the storytelling. The storytelling of Disney is absolutely unmatched. Star Wars has also meant so much to me for the longest time. The fact that I got to live out my own Star Wars story, while working at Disney World is truly an experience that will be with me for the rest of my life.
To work in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge was basically me getting to fan-nerd everyday. It was truly special to be bussing tables and look up to see Kylo Ren and the Stormtroopers. (Shoutout to Spice Pod) Galaxy’s Edge is one of the greatest theme park areas of all time and the simple fact that I got to be engulfed in that story and to work in that land still doesn’t feel real even after it’s all said and done.
To the locals of the outpost: It was amazing to meet and become friends with people from all over the galaxy. I will cherish all the people that made the outpost what it was.
And to my locals that always closed down the outpost: It’s hard to put into words how much you all mean to me. I’m so grateful for each and every single one of you and I will miss you all so much. The moments we spent together will be moments I cherish forever. It’s not goodbye, It’s Till The Spire. I love you guys and I fear we were definitely on to something…
While I am sad it’s over, I’m more grateful that I had the opportunity to do this program again. The DCP has given me some of the best experiences of my life, introduced me to amazing people, and ultimately changed me into a better version of myself. Forever Grateful.

Who You Gonna Call?

Kappa Sigma has given me so much. It has given me countless of memories, changed me into a better man, gave me lifelong brothers, and of course made me this year’s songfest head. This position has been quite the journey. Dance Practices, Painting Props, to making the script, editing, and all of the above. To say It was a lot of work would be an understatement. But, I’d do it all over again for my brothers.
To everyone who helped: A Thank you wouldn’t justify how grateful I am for each and every one of you who spent time to make this performance what it was.
To my brothers: As the Ghostbuster Venkman says in the movie, “We Came, We Saw, We Kicked Its Ass.” I am so proud of us and our performance. It was everything I imagined and more.
In life you will win and you will lose. That’s life. A win or a loss…This was much more than a performance. This was a showcase of this amazing brotherhood that I am blessed to be a part of. No matter the result, we are truly #1 second to none. Whatever we do, we do well, and success attends our efforts.
