SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5th,
Tomorrow, the Deuce is turning 100 years old, one hundred! They are having an epic sized block party, on 14th between Washington and Collins. A BLOCK PARTY.
@killtherobotband @fuakata_official @ladyboyband @mamafumaband and us @hollyhunt_band are playing.

We play at 8pm.

There is a raffle with amazing prizes including stuff from @infoe_is_everywhere @aholsniffsglue @johnvale_tattoos @tattoosbyloumiami and many others. Proceeds go to good charities. There will be special 100 anniversary Deuce merch!

A man wakes up on a desert highway looking at his own reflection in his blood.

He does not know who he is. Joseph Hirsch's "Badhead" spends the next several pages letting him find out, but you get there first.

Gavin Perry's Untitled, 2002, hangs a few pages ahead of it in Issue 3 of The Bleeding Margin. Resin and vinyl on panel, sixty inches tall. A black field so total it takes almost the whole surface, with a few hard blue bands pressed up against the top edge like the last of the sky. Perry works in the finish of automotive paint and highway signage. In contrast, Hirsch's story never leaves the asphalt.

Hirsch, on how the story came together: "two ideas that seemingly have nothing to do with each other clashing and creating a third idea."
