Fear of failure can hold you back but not trying can be the biggest failure of all.

In this episode, @gavman242 opens up about the fear that comes with starting out and why he’d rather “shoot and miss” than never take the shot. Taking action, believing in yourself, and refusing to let doubt dictate your path can make all the difference.

People say real estate agents don't do nothing.

It's not just the buyer and the seller. It's the buyer's attorneys, the seller's attorneys, the property managers, and the buyer's father who is a contractor with opinions.

In the luxury space, add wealth managers and personal assistants. You're managing every ego and every personality in the room.

You're not playing chess against one opponent. You're watching everybody's board.

He has sold a seventy five million dollar private island and he still calls himself a work in progress.

@gavman242 runs one of the top real estate operations in the Bahamas @corcorancacbahamas , and the thing he keeps coming back to is not the deals. It is discomfort. The rooms where he felt like he did not belong are the rooms that changed his life.

He would rather shoot and miss than never shoot at all. He wants agents who tell him to his face that they intend to beat him. And when I walked in ready to quit real estate, he flat out refused to accept it. One week later I landed my first million dollar listing.

That conversation is in this episode.
