Pag-Aninag trophy was designed by Ms. Nikki Luna, exhibiting artist and women’s rights activist.

Created in white, the trophy embraces light as a metaphor for clarity—not certainty, but the act of truly seeing. Like cinema, it invites us to look beyond what is immediately visible and discover what lies beneath.

For Ms. Luna, 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠 is about recognizing stories, lives, and moments that have always been there, waiting to be seen with care. It honors filmmakers who bring these stories to light with integrity and sensitivity. Because to see is also to listen, to witness, and to care 💕
