This is our cute little Coontie Palm. It recently grew a new frond. Each one that has grown has had one more set of leaves than the last one. These guys are native to Florida so they like humidity and sun. by @gaylorplants

This one has been on Taylor's list for quite some time now and so I got it for him for Christmas! It's already had a couple new leaves and more on the way! Other than the fact that it looks like it was painted, we love that the leaf looks like it's spiralling out of the petiole! by @gaylorplants

When we got this guy he was probably about 10 inches tall! You can see the skinnier parts where we were figuring out exactly what would make him happy but once we did he shot up! I'm sure this summer he'll get even taller! by @gaylorplants

This is one of our newer plants that we got as a cutting. But it's already produced one new leaf and has 2 more on the way! I'm trying to capture the most recent leaf in a time lapse. by @gaylorplants

This is our beautiful blue star! You can see that some of her leaves have a blue hue to them which gives the name. I sent Taylor into Home Depot one day took get something and when I came to pick him up he was holding her in his arms looking so proud! by @gaylorplants

This was Taylor's Valentine's gift from a couple years ago. It did well at first and then had a rough spell. We've kept it in this humidity terrarium for about a year and it's finally starting to recover and show new growth! Just in time for this year's Valentine! by @gaylorplants

~Euphorbia tirucalli~
(Sticks on Fire)
This cool plant is very slow to form chlorophyll so when it gets full sun it turns a reddish hue as you can see on some of the top branches. It has very small leaves along it's tips that don't last very long and drop off. This plant is also quite poisonous and can cause burns to the skin. This coral looking plant can actually grow quite large to be almost 12 feet tall! But for now we'll just keep him here on our patio. ☺️💥 by @gaylorplants
