In this chaotic world with so much suffering, it’s easy to forget about kids living under blockade. Imagine this: In the Gaza Strip, a 10 year old child has never experienced more than 12 hours of electricity per day in his/her lifetime. Access to healthy, drinkable water from a tap or the ability to travel in and out of Gaza is out of the question. Swipe right ➡️ to see a painting made by a Palestine refugee student during an UNRWA art therapy session. These kids have lived through and survived 3 devastating and brutal Israeli military assaults that resulted in thousands of lives lost. In Gaza, what is ‘normal’ for a child to experience is warped. Let’s help them cope. Just like every year, I’m fundraising and running the @unrwausa #gaza5k in Prospect Park Brooklyn on March 7 with my girl @nmacotsis . I’m on a team this year ! 💪We have about a week to hit our $5000 goal, can you help us? We are almost halfway there. Link is in bio, every cent counts. Funds go to help kids in Gaza get access to mental health services. If you want to come jog with me , send me a msg and I’ll send u the registration link. Or just visit gaza5k.org !!! God bless ❤️ #helpkids #helpgaza #goodcause #mentalhealth #helppalestine #unrwausa #غزة #فلسطين taken in Gaza Strip by @gazelledance

Had an incredible opportunity this weekend to perform for Palestine Children's Relief Fund in Charlotte, North Carolina with @afraheventsus . Learning about PCRF's mission and about what they do to help babies, children and families in Palestine and in refugee camps was so moving and inspiring. Please visit their page and follow them to learn more about the deeply meaningful and life changing work they do. It was such an honor to be a part of this special evening for such an important cause , thank you @pcrf_charlotte God bless ❤️🇵🇸and as always thank you @afraheventsus taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @gazelledance
