📚My books: characters, snippets, & vibes!

Hi!! I thought I’d sum up my books a little bit since I have *3* published now and they’re not all the same sub-genre🕯️

🥀Untethered & Unburied are a complete YA gothic fantasy duology with a HEA. If you like books like Belladonna, Stalking Jack the Ripper, or T. Kingfisher’s style then you might enjoy these!

🌷Potions & Peculiarities is a standalone adult fantasy that’s cottagecore meets dark fairytale. It also has a HEA & is the first in a planned series of interconnected standalones. If you love the atmosphere of OUABH with some eerie Alice in Wonderland vibes, then you might like this one!

🤎All my books are no spice/closed door and copies are available through several indie shops as well as my webs!te. You can also read through Kindle Unlimited or Hoopla!

Once upon a time, at the edge of a terrible & dreary city, there lived a girl with the ability to revive the de@d…

This beautiful gothic fantasy book is in KU! Also available in ebook, paperback & pretty signed book bundles 🖤🥀

Full blurb>>>
Lux Thorn is seventeen and the sight of warm blood has caused panic since she was eight. It’s half the reason she prefers her bodies hours postmortem.
With the rare ability to paint the bodies of the de@d and bring them back to life, she’s achieved the title of Necromancer in the harsh city of Ghadra.
Sequestered between an impassable marsh and a devouring forest, the town is both eerie and merciless.
But when bodies are suddenly being piled into carts, marked with a mysterious contagion and fed to the trees, Lux fears her home may finally be rotting.

Torn between the desire to flee or give in to the whispers seeping from the wood, Lux realizes her best chance of survival is an alliance with a dangerous vigilante. One who blames her for the horror plaguing their city, but who also might have the key to its end Except more than one ruinous force is at work here, and Lux must learn how swiftly revenge can turn corrupt, and promises, no matter how enticing, can fall to betrayal.

🥀Follow along for updates & reveals!

Ugh I feel like I’ve been gone forever!! Ive been busy starting a new job 🥳 and writing ✍️ . I’ve also been in a reading slump for awhile but when my pre-ordered copy of A Prince Among Pirates came in the mail, I went to read the first page before putting it on the shelf (I always do this with new books? Idk why? 😅) but I ended up sitting there and basically reading the entire thing. So highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a fun, quirky adventure story 😍

But of course if you’re in the mood for more fairytale fantasy vibes, I have to recommend my own!🙂‍↕️💖
And obviously share this gorgeous photo from @bookishbrookish_ !!

A snippet from Alora & Bash🌷🐝🍄:

“…I just feel like I need—”
“A distraction.”
“Yes.”
“To what extent?”
Alora felt her entire body must be cherry-red, imagining all she could ask for. “Nothing so great. Just something to pull me out of my own head a little bit.”
He nodded slowly. “A kiss, then.”

POTIONS & PECULIARITIES is a standalone fantasy novel about a designer who accepts the contract of her dreams! It’s bad luck, really, that it’s turned immediately upside down by masked henchmen, memory-stealing wounds, and this intolerably attractive shopkeeper... Among other things 👀

Welcome to Enver, a town full of whimsy and magic!
What you might find while you visit:

•peculiar shops
•cute companions
•potions & cursed artifacts
•cottagecore vibes
•masked men
•soft FMC
•hate to love
•closed door romance

Available to read right now through KU & Hoopla! Signed copies are on my webs!te 💖

🥀for my whimsigoth readers

Would you read a story:
Lux is seventeen and the sight of warm blood has caused panic attacks since she was eight. It’s half the reason she prefers her bodies hours postmortem.
But when the carts begin wandering by at all hours, hauling their 💀 cargo off to the forest, they pass her by.
The trees are hungry. Her prices are steep. Except if those were the reasons, who can explain the rot in the air? 👀

Untethered is book one of a YA gothic, romantic fantasy duology. It’s moody and darkly cozy. Unburied is book two with the same vibes, only you’ll trade a sentient forest for a cliffside manor by the sea 🥀

Both are out now! (And eee look at those covers!!)

🖤I’m currently writing a springtime fairytale-esque book and I LOVE it. but I can’t wait to write my next gothic fantasy/dark academia that’s sitting in my head rn 😌. Spooky books are my favorite🖤

Some tropes—

🖤HEA
🥀enemies to lovers
🖤reluctant allies
🥀coming of age
🖤slow burn/no spice
🥀necromancer x vigilante
🖤sentient forest, spooky atmosphere, fog, rain, body horror, eerie city, masquerade, crows (whimsically gothic things)

🌷happy monday! I needed to start the week with something lovely and whimsical so please look at this sweet animation by Charlotte (my favorite cover designer🤎)! Per usual, im so in love with the rabbit 🐇

I’m pretty sure I found Charlotte’s art on like Day 2 of creating this account, fell head over heels, and now she’s booked for our ✨fourth✨book together! The next standalone in P&P’s world will be published in 2027; I’m SO excited to see them side by side!

If you love whimsical worlds and dark fairytale vibes, Potions & Peculiarities is available now 🐝
And I know I always mention KU, but if you use Hoopla you can read through there too!

🖤HI! So job hunting sucks & I’ve been off social media while I stress (and write).

Here is my girl Lux and a quote that I find *super relatable* atm 🥀

If you love grumpy characters and gothic worlds, Untethered and its sequel, Unburied, are in KU 🖤
