GBA Academy × Transylvania College

An athlete should never have to choose between elite sport and an outstanding education.

From this season, GBA athletes in the Czech Republic have the opportunity to enroll as full-time students at Transylvania College's Cambridge online highschool.

They train in the Czech Republic.
They graduate with a globally recognised qualification.

GBA develops the athlete. Transylvania College develops the student. Together, we make both possible.

This is what a genuine dual-career pathway looks like. by @gbacademyeu

Putting in the work at @rawgym.cz 🔥

To be the best, you need to be around the best… that’s why we train here. This is where players get stronger, faster and harder to guard. 💪

They made a documentary about Sabri! 🤩

GBA’s very own physiotherapist, Sabrina, is a 6-time Taekwondo world champion and now the world can follow her incredible journey! 🔥

Watch it on YouTube: SABRINA MAI 📺

We couldn’t be prouder to have people like her as part of our academy. 🙌

🏀 WHY GBA? - Ep. 4: Joey Taylor 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

"In England I was mainly shooting the ball. Now I'm attacking the rim."

We asked Joey what changed most after a season at GBA. It wasn't his jump shot... that was already there. It was his aggression. Getting downhill, finishing at the rim, growing from a shooter into a more complete scorer.
The shooting? Still improving! On our USA trip he went 5/5 from three against Garner Road and one of the country's top-ranked players Jordan Page. In his own words: "everything just felt good…" Quietly, that's a season of work showing up.

🇪🇺 Born 2007–2012 and playing in Europe? 💬 Comment "Try-Out" and we'll reach out to you.
