Little update, haven’t felt v cute of late dealing with it all but gave myself an attitude adjustment this morning and figured I’drake advantage of that and do a share. Switch Beef Protein Isolate for anyone keen on a good meal sub or protein add to your day. Is good.

I really do commend those who can post on social media regularly be it for fun or personal or business. Gosh I’m finding it tough to get over this hump of being scared or some other bs story I have about it in my mind

So here we are. Happy Saturday.

Part 2 - Light, Colour, Sound

A feast for the eyes and the ears!
Costumes, art cars, neon everywhere. I remember vividly the moment I first rode to the edge of the city and saw the playa, alive in the dark of night, I was blown away by the stretch and blurr of colour and flickering as far and wide as the eye could see.

Never a dull moment, literally. The creativity of bikes, cars and costumes was utterly impressive and amusing. To be around this many outrageous and inspired humans at once truly was a moment in life to treasure despite its challenges and I really really wanna go back and do it all again!!!

Our favourite was the Golden Gate Bridge, which lived around the corner from us. Was used multiple times as a homing beacon when orientation at silly o’clock on the playa was no where to be found

Part 1 - BM25 - Golden Hour moments

This time last year, I too had seen all that Mother Nature could unleash on playa! We got in early and waited days for this thing to kick into full swing

I’d wanted to be a participant in this magnificent temporary city for many years. Looking back now it felt like the right time, alongside feeling forced. They say “you get the burn you need, not the burn you want”….and I tell ya, this is for damn sure very true!!

Learnt a few things about myself I’d have rather ignored really.

But amongst this city full of lovers, dancers, musicians, makers, givers, huggers and all the rest, you find parts of yourself that you forgot about and realize still need the light of day in your adult life.

Inviting large amounts of fun and play, dance and adventure into our lives on a regular basis is something that should honestly be mandatory. Stomping in the dust alongside others to a beat. Out in the glow of the sunset and sunrise

Update: Coupla cuties going carnivore

After my fair share of gut issues:
Parasites
Candida
SIBO
Possible leaky gut
(and all the rest that these little suckers come with)

Smileys 5 episodes of recurrent Pericarditis
(compliments of the mandatory health protections measures the government placed on us in 2020)

We’ve decided that this is our best way forward right now in order to get things in order! We hope!

Please hope with us

Day 24 (of June, far more than my posting streak!)

Anyway….aiming to share a bit more about what I’ve gone through the last couple of years with my tummy troubles.

I’ve mulled over it for far too long worried about how I look or how I sound or if people will judge me. Enough of that bizzo. I just wanna share stuff that might help peoples so here goes!

Happy Thursday ya’ll x

Day 11 - Been a smiley face gal all my life. Had backpacks, clocks, stickers, t-shirts the works all through school.

The trend has slowly been returning in life, likely sparked by my very own real life Smiley lover @smilishgambino

Also, I have new slippers and I’m jazzed about them. Hope this brings a smile to someone’s dial

Day 9 (skipped a couple days there!)

I’m pretty busy in the kitchen at the moment!! Been looking after my pops in Perth which has afforded me the time to start experimenting with SIBO and Candida friendly recipes

Anyone who knows anything about gut issues knows that the diets that come with them are incredibly limiting.

I was the definition of hangry in my first two weeks of this restrictive diet!

After not too much digging I’ve been able to find some epic recipes to satisfy my emotional eating needs 🤣

I love how easy it has been to make healthy homemade snacks and treats. Hit me up if you’re interested in any. Might share a little more on this topic

Muffins, pesto, fritters, anzacs, granola & tuscan crackers!!

Day 6 - Gbeeezy is back, with a slight spelling change

I’m a typical, indecisive Libran. I liked GBoogie but I was never fully sold. I’m a chameleon like that, always have been

I even started a whole new Instagram account for a fresh start and a new me; @daisydeluxx I also love this name though still, I’m still not 100%, it didn’t feel true.

So stay tuned, I could morph again. Change is a good as a holiday they say!! I’ve truly changed so much in the last 5 years of my life and I truly feel like I’m at a point where I want to share more of it.

Makes me hella nervous sharing in front of a crowd of people you’ve known all your life. Now doing something different. Doing my best to overcome this.

Hope ya stick around 🙃

Day 5

My back catalogue is vast and I will continue to share from it 🤣

Very grateful still to @larryddjdegree for getting my DJ skills up to playing in public level!

I’ve always truly loved finding new music, hassling dj’s in nightclubs before Shazam existed, searching song lyrics I would hear on the radio or in shops

Grateful to have the desire to share this interest of mine and share the fun with friends

I’m still in my explorative phase and my styles varied wildly!’ If anyone is keen to have a casual spin or has a party slot they need filled…holla

Props to bestie and photographer @smarinich for these

Decided I’m going to try to post everyday in June to get over this anti-social, social-media slump I’m in…

So, here is a vid I took a few weeks back and never shared, anyone with TUMMY ISSUES or NAUSEA listen up…got get yourself some of this tea, you won’t regret it. Works a charm

Delish and nutrish for your gut
Not a paid promotion. Not an influencer 🤣

I just like sharing good stuff so shoutout to @xoteas and Arj for holding it down all these years, you’ve saved many a sick tummy!

Proof of life.
And that we often walk out wearing the same clothes.
And that the hibiscus are bigger in Perth.
And that I’m now a brunette.
