Summer camp ended much the same way this season began… Rain. However, today we were able to make the most of it with our annual slip-and-slide wiffle ball game.

Thank you to all of our players who attended camp, and good luck with your Summer seasons!

Champions beat the Spartans 2-1 in a heavyweight bout in the @ihsa_il Sectional Final. It was a hard-fought game by both teams, and the tension was palpable until the very end. Unfortunately, the bounces didn't fall our way.

That said, this team was something special. After being swept by Maine South at the end of April, in what was a tough-to-stomach loss, the squad finished the year 14-3. They got punched and punched back. The goal is to play our best baseball in May/June, and they did just that. We are so proud of this group that truly became a family.

Final Record: 24-14
Final Conference Record: 10-5 (2nd Place)
IHSA Regional Champions for the 6th year in a row
Sweet 16

To our 17 seniors and three senior coaches, thank you. Thank you for embracing #gritoverglory, for embodying the 3 A's, and for making every game and practice with you an enjoyable experience. We will miss you, but you have left the jersey in a better place.

Players were allowed to wear their old-school @northbrookbaseball uniforms or their favorite MLB uniforms while we completed our defensive drill series at the Northbrook Legion field.
