Couldn’t have been more happy with my gear this @miamiultraskate even though I ended up having to drop out due to sickness. @micahrynders captured some awesome pics of my 3 setups and gear that I still wanted to share. I put an immense amount of work into planning every detail of this trip, and as much as it sucks to have had to drop, I still learned a lot of things I will take forward. Grateful to have been able to consult the master @gbomb_longboards himself while assembling boards, and thanks to @orangatangwheels for the slick wheels and apparel.

My main setup:
Board: GBomb C27
Wheels: Orangatang Bee’s Knees (80a Front, 77a Rear)
Bearings: GBomb Ceramics
Brackets: GBomb Composites
Bolts: GBomb Infinity
Front Truck: @donttripskateboards Poppy
Rear Truck: GBomb Ninja
Bushings: @riptidesports (80a board-side, 75a road-side)

I had two identical Ninja setups as my primaries and a 3rd setup with a GBomb Tango tail ready to go incase the Ninja wasn’t cutting it, but after 97 miles in 8 hours I favor the Ninja and I am convinced it is more stable and responsive than the Tango.

I had planned on racing the blue 77a Bee’s Knees on all wheels, but race day I swapped my fronts for orange 80a for some extra roll distance up front while keeping the back softer and was happy with the result.
