Senior Year: Posterity

My new life began with the powerful revelation of this semester. Now that I am a graduated teacher, life is transitioning from valuing how much education/experience I can gain to how much education/experience I can give. My heart full and my family is vibrant from the experience I have gained in college and it has left me invigorated to play my part in the lives of the next generation. This last semester was an sum of me helping the posterity of the band, UT, and Hardin Valley and it has left me with no doubts that this is the life that I am meant to live.

This continues to echo in my mind as I spend my last days at UT. I have given my all to Tennessee and now I am ready to beareth a torch for the world through music. The countdown has begun:

7/8🙏🏽❤️ With that concludes my last academic semester at UT and begins my last step to becoming a band director: student teaching. This semester has continued to fill my heart with countless friends, family, lessons, and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am sad that my time at UT is coming to an end but I am beyond excited for my new life to begin. I am confident I am meant to impact the world through music and I am certain that my student teaching will help me get there! One foot is out the door🙏🏽😄

Junior year: Fruition✅

Junior year was the year of fruition. Every day offered an affirmation of where I am and a realization of where I want to be. My goals are more tangible now than they have ever been for my character, leadership, relationships, musicianship, faith, and career so I’m beyond excited for my senior year! Sophomore year: Renaissance✅

My sophomore year was a period of me gaining a wealth of knowledge and trying to do everything under the sun. I was able to broaden my impact on campus, develop in my philosophy and faith, and become much more versatile as a person by taking every opportunity that presented itself to me. I have always pursued being able to do a little bit of everything so that I can be relied on for anything but my junior year needs to be the year of specialization. I’ll continue to do a little bit of everything but the POTS and the COM will to start being my center and home base. I’m very exited for all I get to do next year!
