Long weekend takeaways:

1. Don't trust your friends when they say, "It's a 5K loop." Get a Garmin.

2. A nice, slow backswing and full follow-through go a long way.

3. Zeus has a strict "walks under an hour" policy.

4. If I have half as many people around me at my 60th, I'll consider myself blessed by @gcleland9
