Rome! Well there’s a lot going on here to say the least. Could spend a full week here and it’d just scratch the surface. I liked it here. You can join the crowds or find quieter places if you like. Siena. Great day trip. The mosaic work on the floors are tough to capture and they’re actually covered up during most of the year. Plan ahead and get tickets. Easy in and out but there’s a lot of walking with hills and steps. #italy taken in Siena, Italy by @gcmak

Florence. Ahh what a pretty city. I think it was a bit more busy than I expected it to be but my goodness does it look pretty during golden hour into the evening. The food, architecture and people were all so nice. #italy taken in Florence, Italy by @gcmak

Padova. Bit of a side quest to visit a friend. Lovely place and apparently exploding in popularity where home price have become unobtainable by many - sounds familiar…
What I enjoyed about this place was more of being able to see what living outside of a major tourist city is like and experiencing a different pace and rhythm happen during the day. #italy taken in Padova, Italy by @gcmak

Venice (and nearby). Favorite city of the trip. Walkable, no cars, pretty clean, and just nice spots to chill all around. It’s so chill in the morning and evenings too. #italy taken in Venice, Italy by @gcmak

Lake Como. Gorgeous place and nice to be able to get around on boats. Too much of a shopping focus and hilly as expected. Would like to spend more time here in the morning and evenings when daytime travelers aren’t around. #italy taken in Lake Como by @gcmak
