🚨 CO-MAIN EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

🇪🇪 Tom Mäenurm vs 🇸🇪 Karl Pegers

The co-main event of GCS 3 brings together two of the most dangerous submission hunters in Northern Europe.

Representing Estum Jiu-Jitsu, Estonia’s Tom Mäenurm has built one of the strongest competition resumes in the region. A multiple-time ADCC champion, ADCC North European Open champion, and ADCC European Open champion, Mäenurm is renowned for his relentless pace and elite submission game. Whether it’s heel hooks or his trademark armlocks, he can finish a fight from almost anywhere.

Standing across from him is Sweden’s Karl Pegers of Stark Jiu-Jitsu, one of Scandinavia’s fastest-rising black belts. Fresh off an outstanding performance at the BJJ Finnish Open, where he captured double gold by winning both his weight class and the absolute division, Pegers has earned a reputation for relentless pressure, fearless attacking, and one of the nastiest triangle chokes in Europe.

This isn’t just Estonia vs Sweden.

This is two submission specialists.

Two elite competitors.

Two athletes who never step onto the mat looking for a decision.

Only one walks away with the biggest win of the summer.

SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT – WILLIAM PROCOPÉ

William Procopé earns the GCS 3 Submission of the Night with a beautiful high-elbow guillotine from the mount.

Under the brightest lights of his young career, William delivered.

A breathtaking, surgically precise finish: the opportunity appeared, William recognized it immediately and locked in the high-elbow guillotine to end the match.

No hesitation. No wasted movement. Just precision when it mattered most.

A spectacular finish from a young athlete on the big stage.

GCS 3 Submission of the Night. 🔥

Congratulations, William! 👏

ILLAN PARAS LOPETUS – WILLIAM PROCOPÉ

William Procopé palkitaan GCS 3 illan parhaasta lopetuksesta upealla high-elbow giljotiinilla mountista.

Upea suoritus nuorelta ottelijalta isolla lavalla.

GCS 3 Submission of the Night. 🔥

Onnittelut William! 👏 taken in Hybridiarena Hype by @gcseries

MATCH OF THE NIGHT – SAREN VS. TRIEBEL

Heidi Saren vs. Sandra Triebel earns the GCS 3 Match of the Night.

This was one of the absolute crowd favorites of the night. And for good reason. From the opening seconds, the match delivered nonstop action.

Both Saren and Triebel are elite-level judokas and hold black belts in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, making this a battle between two exceptionally well-rounded grapplers. Both wanted the same thing: get on top, take control, and dominate.

Heidi came out strong and applied heavy pressure early, but Sandra gradually fought her way into the match. What followed was a high-paced battle filled with scrambles, transitions and constant attacks.

Eventually, Triebel found her opportunity, took the back, and finished the fight with a rear-naked choke.

Two black belts. Two elite judokas. Nonstop action.

A well-deserved GCS 3 Match of the Night. 🔥

Congratulations to both athletes! 👏

ILLAN PARAS OTTELU – SAREN VS. TRIEBEL

Heidi Saren vs. Sandra Triebel palkitaan GCS 3:n illan parhaana otteluna.

Ottelu oli yksi yleisön ehdottomista suosikeista, eikä syyttä. Vauhtia riitti ensimmäisistä sekunneista aina ottelun ratkaisuun asti.

Kaksi huippujudokaa. Täyttä toimintaa.

Ansaittu GCS 3 Match of the Night. 🔥

Onnittelut molemmille! 👏 taken in Hybridiarena Hype by @gcseries

PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT – KARL PEGERS

Karl Pegers earns the GCS 3 Performance of the Night.

Pegers put relentless pressure on the extremely dangerous Tom Mäenurm from start to finish. Everyone familiar with Mäenurm knows how lethal his leg lock and arm lock game can be: one small mistake can end the match instantly.

But Karl didn’t play it safe.

He controlled the match from the top, constantly pushed the pace and wasn’t afraid to enter the leg-lock exchanges himself. Instead of simply trying to neutralize Mäenurm’s strongest weapons, Karl attacked and created submission threats of his own.

After an incredibly close battle, Pegers earned the 2–1 round decision.

Pressure. Composure. Confidence.

A well-deserved Performance of the Night.

Congratulations, Karl! 👏

ILLAN PARAS SUORITUS – KARL PEGERS

Karl Pegers palkitaan GCS 3 -illan parhaasta suorituksesta.

Painetta. Malttia. Itseluottamusta.

Ansaittu Performance of the Night.
