POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Remember, Gene (@gdolders) who directed The Blade Cuts Deeper (if not, you should see it!) well his is producing a movie with director, Steven Young, on a film called Manifesto. It’s stop motion, the sets are handmade miniatures and it’s a surreal sci fi fantasy horror.

We talk about the concept and some of the director’s vision and inspiration. It’s taken 10 years of hard work and it’s finally complete. For more behind the scenes and interviews with the cast, go to @manifesto_movie

Manifesto is still on it’s festival run so keep an eye out.

What does MANIFESTO! sound like?

In this latest Cast Stories reel, Phil Hill talks about finding the “voice” of the film — and how the production used everything from choral sounds to stranger, more experimental ideas to help create its distinctive atmosphere.

For a film this unusual, the sound had to be just as unpredictable as the world on screen.
