🟥 2026 PMGO S1 🟥

Under the direction of @japmedia_ @adit.mukti , GDRH took charge of the 32 team walk-in sequences for the main stage LED.

The timeline was aggressively tight. 1 Day Recce, 1 Day Setup, and 4 Days of high yield Production & Same Day Edit (SDE).

We aimed to deliver a fresh, high-energy visual experience. We focused on dynamic framing and raw emotion, supported by a post-production workflow utilizing stylized visual transitions to highlight key narrative beats for each team’s video.

On execution was a massive technical challenge. The crew had to constantly adapt our lighting setups to shifting venue conditions, direct the players to hit their emotional marks quickly, and maintain a rigorous shooting schedule without compromising crew bandwidth.

PMPL ID SPRING | Breakdown : Compositing

One of the most important steps in the creative production process at GDRH Studio is, of course, compositing.

From the initial 3D rendering results, we evolve and upgrade each shot, sometimes even adding small details that make the visuals more interesting and impactful.

Sometimes, it’s not about making the shot bigger.

it’s about knowing exactly when to fire, rush, reload, or hold the impact.

Every frame is part of the creative play.

This process is crucial to strengthen the message we want to deliver in every shot, even through the smallest adjustments.

Whether it’s scaling an element up by just 2% or creating an impact that lasts only 2–5 frames, every detail can make a difference.

In this shot, we added a bit of flavor to spice things up.

like an atmospheric glow in the foreground, light rays bleeding through the cabin doors, color correction, and a touch of flare at the end for a impact cut to the next shot.

Because this is a crowded scene, establishing clear silhouettes and action was crucial.

To prevent the shot from feeling cluttered, we focused on character separation, enhancing the contrast and applying depth of field (DoF) to isolate the main subjects and make their movements instantly readable.

For these three main character reveal shots, we applied a customized treatment.

We integrated graphical elements that strictly adhere to the Key Visual (KV) guidelines, while adding depth of field, atmospheric effects, and pushing the character contrast.

To give the movement more punch, we incorporated subtle scale and rotation adjustments for impact, all seamlessly leading into a motion reveal executed with precise timing.

For this shot, our motion designer added a really cool detail.

We created the look of a dirty camera lens to give it that gritty battlefield feel, and you can see the smudges catch the light right as it bursts into the aircraft’s cargo cabin.

In the raw 3D render, the stylized outlines came out as a harsh, sharp black.

To fix this, we adjusted the outlines to blend seamlessly into the environment while the character is still ins by @gdrhstudio
