Meet Beatrice a.k.a. Baby Bea,
an 11-week-old (born 07/28/26) Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing 18 pounds (as of 10/14/26). She was surrendered by owners in Tennessee and is looking forward to bringing some peace to your life! Not even waiting in line at the DMV will stress you out with this girl around!

A lover of dogs, cats, and strangers, it’s no secret that Bea will charm everyone she meets with her calm, cool and collected demeanor. In fact, if you do a staring contest with her, she’ll probably win! She hasn’t met kids yet, but she’s a friendly girl who’s sure to become their new bestie. Bea is still learning the ways of leashing, potty training and commands, but she’s had experience with crates and also cars. All she wants is somebody to love her, just like the Whitney song. Will it be you?

Meet Cricket, a 2-year-old Weimaraner / Bulldog mix, weighing 65 pounds (as of 10/13/26). He’s so happy to be leaving the streets of Tennessee where he lived as a stray. No doubt he’ll write a heart-warming country song about his life and he hopes you’ll be a part of his story!

Poor Cricket was in terrible condition and very malnourished when he was found on a country road, but we’re happy to say he has been absolutely perfect indoors. In the beginning, his fosters kept him in the kennel whenever they left home and at night. He would bark once or twice when kenneled but chilled out quickly. Now, he now has free range of the house at night and when they are gone with no mishaps or tomfoolery!

Cricket is as happy as a clam when he’s snuggled up in his dog bed, but he does enjoy playing with other dogs as well. At his foster’s, he’ll play with their 125lb Great Dane but leaves their other not playful dog alone. He has been around their cats and doesn’t pay much attention to them (though occasionally he’ll get a burst of playfulness and want to chase them but he stops when corrected).

This sweet boy does like to chase livestock like horses, chickens and pigs, so his new home must have a fenced in yard! When he’s not charming you with his harmonica tunes, Cricket loves going on car rides and playing in the water. He adores kids and is a true gentleman to strangers as well! No doubt he’ll become so popular, your town will want to elect him as mayor! He even walks on a leash (though may pull from excitement), is crate trained and house trained. What more could you want?

As of 10/6/26, Cricket is currently finishing up heartworm treatment and most likely will not be ready to move home until the first or second week of Nov.

Start at The Lawn to grab your trick-or-treat map, then take your pup around The Row to sniff out some treats 🍬🐶 Afterward, head back to The Lawn for a doggy costume contest, tail-wagging fun and plenty of reasons to show off their Halloween best. Plus, it’s all for a good cause 🧡

LOCAL and adoptable!
Meet Mia Mars,
a 16 week-old (10/2) Collie / Jack Russel Terrier mix, weighing pounds (as of 9/17/26). These adorable Martians were surrendered in Tennessee and are hoping they’ll find the perfect home on Planet Earth. They come in peace!

UPDATE: Mia is precious! She cries at the door when she wants to go out and potty! Loves all the toys! Mia and my big dog are getting along great. We have cats but will introduce them slower. She is very sweet and social and easy going and will be a great fit for a lot of families. We have only had her 4 days and she is doing amazing.

Mia’s love of space travel is rivaled only to her love for people! This girl can’t wait to make everyday feel like you’re floating in anti-gravity chamber and really, isn’t that great? Enjoy the fun!

The Mars litter hope the Earthlings won’t mind that they take over your space! They’ve lived with each other and eight adult dogs, but haven’t met kids or felines yet. To adjust to this new planet, they’ll need love and help mastering potty training, leashing, commands and crates (though they are crated sometimes.) Meet Steve,
a 6-month-old Boxer / Mountain Cur mix, weighing 39.2 pounds (as of 9/16/26). Steve wasn’t having too much fun as a stray in Tennessee so he decided to see what New England is all about!

What can we say about Steve? Has a weirdly human name? Yup. Goofy? Sure. Friendly and energetic? Yup and yup. Good with kids and other dogs? Absolutely.

This silly boy loves toys and balls and just wants to be loved on and played with. He is very likable and we’re not just saying that because he told us to mention it! Steve is doing well with crates and leashes, and he’s housebroken. He’s been exposed to cats and seems to ignore them, but of course, any introduction should be taken with care.

Meet Kodiak,
a 12-week-old Black Lab mix, weighing 15 pounds (as of 9/11/26). This gorgeous darling hails from Tennessee where she lived as a stray in someone’s yard. Kodiak deserves to live the cozy New England lifestyle! Let’s make it happen!

Do not get Kodiak if you’re not looking for a great puppy and terrific companion. All she’ll do is make you smile with her silliness and happy temperament! This girl loves to be cool: laying on floor vents, tile floors or a cool room while wearing shades indoors. She has no meanness in her, just rolls with whatever and takes nothing personally. She is a girl who tries and loves to have something to do so bring out the puzzles, baby!

Kodiak is still learning to use a dog door so will need house training (as well as leash and crate training). She is around cats and has had no issues! She doesn’t chase, just curious to sniff the leftover catnip. Been there! Kodiak also loves kids and other dogs.

She can be a drama queen so any discipling by another dog brings on a cry. What? She wants to be an actor when she grows up! Kodiak is in a chewing phase right now so supervision helps if there are things lying around.

Happy days are here again!
Meet Big John Joyful,
a 10-week-old Min Pin / Jack Russell mix, weighing 7 pounds (as of 9/16/26). This adorable boy and his brother, Little John, were part of a litter that was surrendered in Tennessee. Can you see how excited he is to meet you?!

Big John may look tiny, but he’s got a name that makes him sound larger than life! This little guy is sweet, adorable, and just a little bashful when he first meets someone. He’s getting lots of love and attention in his foster home, though, and he’s already starting to come right out of his shell. Soon, he’ll be going for world domination!

His parents were both around 15 pounds, so Big John should stay a nice small size as he grows — perfect for someone looking for a little companion who won’t take up much room. He’s lived in a house with other dogs and we think he’d do well with kids. He hasn’t met cats yet, so an introduction is in his future.

Since he’s still a baby he’ll need extra TLC (tender loving care) for potty training, commands and leashes (though he has used crates for travel).

With a little patience, love, and reassurance, we think this sweet boy is going to blossom into a wonderful little best friend.

Wax on, wax off with Grasshoper Karate,
a 6-week-old German Shepherd mix, weighing approx. 6-7 pounds (as of 9/17/26). The KARATE pups hail from Tennessee and are looking for the perfect sensei to help them become the best karate masters they can be!

Playful and fun, Grasshopper would much rather spend her days playing games with her siblings. But when the time calls for it, she’s ready to karate chop her way to victory at any tournament! Get ready to collect all the trophies with this one!

Small like a butterfly and sweet like honey, the Karate litter are friends to all: children, dogs, even strangers. They haven’t met cats yet, but maybe they’ll be impressed with their black belts? Since they’re still young, they’ll need Mr. (or Mrs.) Miyagi to help them learn the ways of karate AND puppy training (though they are learning about crates). Soon, they’ll be able to break a wooden board with just one paw! It’s not easy as it looks!

When the pups are old enough and ready for adoption, they’ll be spayed/neutered.

She ARRIVES in MA today!!!! 🐾
And we are hoping now that she is local we can find her the perfect furever home. 🏡

Meet Faye Friend,
a 10-month-old (on 9/23) Cattle Dog/Collie mix, weighing 30 pounds (as of 8/8/26). Despite being dumped by her owners in Tennessee, Faye still travels through life with a happy-go-lucky attitude! Get ready for lots of parties and lots of smiles!

UPDATE: Faye is so sweet and smart, did not have any accidents and loves cuddling, playing with her ball (she is great at fetch) , and riding in the car! SUCH a perfect girl!

Faye is a great pup whose playful energy will certainly keep a family on their toes. Soon, your life will be filled with fun house parties because this girl knows how to rock! While she gets along with other dogs, Faye LOVES to be the center of attention. Get that ring light ready! Faye’s a star and she knows it! Kids and strangers alike will fall in love with her. We’re not sure if she’s met cats yet, but they’re welcome to party too!

Faye has some experience with crates and is learning to walk on a leash, but she does know how to use a dog door. We assume she’s house-trained as she is very good on overnight stays. She is full-grown and a wonderful size to have in any sized house or apartment. Are you ready for an adventure? Faye hopes she’ll be having you say “hooray” everyday!
