New music alert ‼️ 🎶🎶 & this one’s a stunner 😍

Four Corners Music proudly welcomes back UK-born, Madrid-based producer @gds_uk (Greg Smith) for his debut solo release on the label, the Cicadas EP.
GDS is carving out a distinctive sound rooted in jazz, soul, funk and the atmospheric textures of ‘90s trip hop. The result is music built for intimate club settings or big systems alike.
As an integral part of Madrid’s ever-evolving bass music community, GDS has spent recent years refining his craft with unwavering focus—and it’s paying dividends. Every release showcases another step forward, with a level of detail, musicality and maturity that continues to turn heads.
Following his standout contribution to Jazz Corner Vol. 2 in early 2025, it was clear GDS had something special. With the Cicadas EP, he delivers on that promise in emphatic style.
Across four beautifully crafted cuts, GDS balances intricate musicianship with deep, rolling energy, creating a body of work that feels timeless yet forward-thinking. It’s an EP that comfortably sits alongside the finest contemporary liquid drum & bass releases while confidently establishing GDS as one of the scene’s most exciting emerging voices.
Circadian isn’t just a debut solo EP for Four Corners Music—it’s a statement of intent.
Get familiar with GDS. This is only the beginning. taken in Madrid, Spain by @gds_uk
