Lately! Life in Finland.

First video is from a class from a lovely friend @karina_mamadalieva, count on her to make everyone feel empowered 💗

Second video of me dipping my toes in freestyle🤭

Third video choreography is by @pia__only 🧡 heels practice with all the great tips she gave about waving, balance and breathing.

Also been taking more time to nourish myself inside out, every day one thing to provide for myself, be it going to the doctors, meditating, practicing, journalling, or eating well. by @gebbre

Malachi stage live class while it lasted 🥁✨💜💜

This was such a fun class with the best people I could ask for and it was a blast. Hat said "no we ain't ready". 😂

Things that I've been thinking about, and keep repeating to myself lately:

o Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.

o Don't expect to see a change if you don't make one.

o Improvement begins with "I"..

o No one is you and that is your power.

o Focus on the steps in front of you and not the whole staircase.

o Do what scares you until it doesn't.

Practice footage. Can't wait to 1. Go back 2. Dance or move in general.

My body and heart misses this. Sometimes I forget my art, sometimes it feels more natural to move in someone else's art. Does that make sense? I'd love to hear your thoughts about this.

But as my body still has its natural way to move, I see that my art is still hidden within, only waiting to be discovered. The more I dance, the more I see glimpses of who I am. But especially these days when I'm not moving at all, I currently feel as if I can't find it yet on my own. Until then, I'll keep riding others' movements, and have faith that the day will come when I can authentically translate movement into something I can call art that is truly mine.

Ahh... Goodbye my long hair!

You gave me a lot of confidence. 😫❤️
I didn't want to rely on long hair to make my dancing 'better'.

So I cut it. A challenge for me. Watch me grow. 🌱
