My time at Knox has finally concluded. Looking back, I did not really know what to expect in college, but I am honestly grateful for everything that has happened these past 4 years. All of y’all have impacted me in different ways and allowed me to become the man I am today. Besides pursuing my own studies, I tried to spread love, positivity, and instigate (just a little hehe). Unfortunately, I do not have the space for a whole speech, so I will just keep it short. If y’all know me, you know I live by three important values: respect, humility, and compassion. RESPECT your family, your elders, and your friends. Listen and be open to change. Everyone has the ability to grow and be better. Be real with each other. HUMILITY can not be stressed enough. Regardless of one’s background, always be appreciative of what you have. Everything and everyone you have can be taken away from you in a blink of an eye. Life truly is short. Lastly, one of my favorites is COMPASSION. Always spread love and happiness. You really do not know what someone is going through. A simple favor or a small compliment/hug can go a long way. At the end of the day, nothing is ever deep. Just live, laugh, and love. As brother Glock once said “Don’t be a tweaker, be a geeker.” With that, I just wanted to say I love all you guys (even you KK). Y’all made me feel like I was part of your family. I’m proud of each and every one of you guys. I am excited to see what you guys do. I will always be your dad. If you ever need anything, never hesitate to call. I may be sleeping but just try again. Until next time, much love Akhil Alex Geddati
