Who knew that @verygoodplus and @geebo76 could’ve been premier moving pictorial performers from 1926?

Just a hundred years too late?

Noooo! It’s never too late.

Tally ho, what! by @geebo76

SIE IS BACK!

@VillagesTaproom
SAT 26th SEPT
5pm - 11:30pm

Ecstatic to announce the return of the Indiana Jones of waxy nugget rarity hunters, the Bionic Man of the hidden dusty crates, the revered “niche legend” OG vinyl vulture…
SIE VULTURE @verygoodplus !

We got him back! Oh yes. Our funk soul brahim, and all it took was bribery and emotional blackmail. Vunderbah!

I cannot stress what an honour to have this Derby Ram daaahn ‘ere. I cannot also stress how much you should come along… Sie has probably the best vinyl collection going. Not only is he a collector, but truly one of the best rarity wax selectors going.

So get the date written on the back of a squished packet of Embassy No.5’s, and come swing by.

Again… it’s a fkin FREE nuit!

Sunday was a special one - hijacking the regularly scheduled ‘Mundo Eclectico’ Bank Holiday night as an offficially ‘unofficial’ belated 50th birthday bash. Thanks SO much to everyone who came through - being surrounded by the people I hold dearest, from every chapter of my life so far, was the biggest gift ever! I love you all ❤️

Massive thanks to my brother from another, Billy - Mr Mundo himself - without whom none of this would be happening in the first place! As always, bringing the party vibe with his inimitable mix of outer-national flavours! 🫡❤️ Big thanks to Mark Mothers of @deepfried_beats for swinging by to drop a funky little 45 of funky little 45s - I hope our paths cross again very soon 🫡❤️ Then there’s the legendary Doug Shipton - Mundo’s unofficial 3rd member. An all-round beautiful human being who I’ve been lucky enough to befriend over the last few years - a man with an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things music, a collection to die/kill for and the ability to destroy any dancefloor, any genre, any time! 🫡❤️ and my final musical thanks goes to my dear old friend, Mark - DJ OneTime. It was a true full-circle moment, being stood behind the decks with you… just like we did when we were 15 years old, pretending to be on pirate radio! Thanks for reminding me how to rock a party - you killed it! Let’s do it again soon 🫡❤️

Final, final thanks go to the absolutely wonderful team at @villagestaproom . It has become my ‘happy place’, a home away from home, and that’s mainly down to the staff (the amazing beers do also help!). Thank you guys SO much for everything - you know who you are 🫡❤️

‘People make the party’ and every single person in there on Sunday brought a love & energy with them that I wish I could bottle up and carry with me everywhere! I am really lucky to have you all in my life - thank you ❤️

TODAY
SUNDAY 30th AUG
5pm - 11:30pm
Its a @WeLoveMundoEclectico especial…
¡MUNDO (geeb)CLÉCTICO!

@Geebo76 is making the most of hamming this MUNDO E for his Hawaiian Birthday, so lets all just humour him, yeah?
(Love you, G! x)

Anywagamama, back on track: we have an extraordinary array of superb vinyl guests for you.

@part_time_iller: (a nom du plume that should resonate with the old school JVC FORCE fans amongst us) aka Mark Stafford, is a disk jokk comrade of GEEBO from their proper old-skool-school days. Mark also created one of Brighton’s most popular hip-hop, R&B, funk, soul nights. So, in that Geebo party-vibe vein, he’ll get ya on yer good foot.

…as you’ll also get from the funk sole butterer MARK MOTHERS @mystique_cs
Us locals know him and his DJ partner Arj’s massively popular @DEEPFRIED_BEATS nights around south east LDN, so you’ll know what a killer set to expect.

Then… our MUNDO E fratello… the incredible, truly world renowned wax slinger @Doug.Shipton of the legendary @FINDERSKEEPERSRECORDS and his new “back-room” label, the highly regarded, critically acclaimed, @FUNDAMENTALFREQUENCIES.co.uk (the Telepathic Fish comp by FF becoming one of the New York Time’s favourite releases of 2025).
Doug (also the maestro behind the fantastic @tatemoderncorner’s @pourdecisions.verdant monthly soirée) being one of the most sought after deejays, journalists, compliers, diggers, mixtape creators going, so it’s always such a coup and honour to have him DJ down at @VillagesTaproom

And then there’s me.
Small selection of reggae 7s in the bag for some early doors carnival vibes, plus plenty of outernational fuzz freakola funky gubbins to keep the night truly eclectic.

As always,
