I must confess I am a big fan of Alex Maleev @alex_maleev . His arts always inspired me.

I truly believe Daredevil acquired his unique style and atmosphere precisely because of this artist. Modern DD character we all know and love owes probably 50% of its success to Alex Maleev.

So when I received my new Daredevil action figure I just couldn’t resist the urge to recreate one of my favourite arts.

«It’s not a good sign when alive tank himself is running on you.»

I love this shot shows how huge and weighty this figure is, especially in motion.
But it wasn’t easy task to fit this massive guy in frame.

Another one person who always inspired me is Zack Snyder @zacksnyder with his outstanding style.

So when Hollywood forces creators to prioritize quantity over quality this man remains true for himself and always deliver to the viewer the unique and unforgettable audio-visual experience. He can easily tell a story without a single word.

In the era of boring mediocrity and soulless self-copied content it’s risky to be creative because most of the same mediocre people might not understand or accept it.

So I have to thank Zack Snyder for his work and for the feelings and emotions his projects gave me.
In this shot I tried to hit the mood and atmosphere of the iconic portrayal of Batman created by Zack and played by Ben Affleck in the BvS and the Justice League.

In this shot I tried to show duality of the character who is balancing between being a Messiah and Destroyer of Worlds. The line between these two roles is very thin.

“Nathan Christopher Summers was born into a battle, and his life was a war.”

✅This shot is absolutely practical with minimum manipulations, just some color editing.
No AI or Photoshop (only the shining eye was added).

I used to creat shots using things I can find at home. So for the background I have turned over my microwave and computer case to their rear sides.

For the green and red neon effect I have used simple colored flashlights installed on some weird surfaces + iPhone flashlight on the electric kettle 🤣

The cigarette is also handmade.
