FROM LOOM ROOMS, WITH LOVE. (Shola @therenaissancedirector & GEEXEN @geexn_ ). Some stages are more than stages. Some moments are more than performances. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the opportunity to stand on the Shrine stage, honour the legacy of Abami Eda, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and share our music with the world. To our grandfathers, Sunday Folarunsho and Sunday Bamidele, who passed down the gift, spirit and legacy of music through generations, this is for you. Your legacy lives on through us. To the custodians of Fela’s legacy, Uncle Femi Kuti @femiakuti Auntie Yeni Kuti and Uncle Seun Kuti, thank you for continuing to create opportunities for the next generation of Nigerian artists to find their voices, tell their stories and carry our culture forward. We are deeply grateful. A special thank you to our A&R @the.uglyartist_1 , Toby Fasakin, Adunni, @masterminded390 , our family members and everyone who contributed to making this experience possible. Your support means so much to us. To our day ones and our incredible dance family, MAD ABOUT DANCE @mad_about_dance_nigeria Simsi, Small Mighty, Neon Smart, Ibinabo Jasmine thank you for believing in us, showing up for us and bringing your energy to the stage. Keep the culture of music alive through dance. Keep its spirit moving from one generation to the next. You are an essential part of this story. ❤️ We also dedicate “3 A.M.”, performed for the first time on that stage, to Odogwu Mara. In that moment, we felt his energy, Fela’s spirit and the presence of generations of Nigerian musicians who continue to fly our flag high and make the world proud. Thank you to our producer, Beat Nasttii for this gift. We drop on 31/10/2026. Music connects us. Music remembers us. And music has the power to heal us. To every Nigerian artist creating against the odds, to everyone carrying our culture across borders, and to everyone around the world who believes in the power of music let’s keep creating, let’s keep connecting, and let’s heal the world together. With love and gratitude, LOOM ROOMS. LINK. UNITE. MULTIPLY. ❤️ Video Credits: @yall_meetbecky1 by @geexn_

To the Occasion, the Opportunity, the Sweat, smiles and tears, the Emotions & Moments, and Most of all to the ICON - The great FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI, whom we have honoured by allowing our Creative Essence take centre stage at The Shrine - A place where he had owned the stage and inspired Generations of Creative and Cultural Custodians to come. This was Paying Homage, This is Culture, This is our Legacy. Our Sincerest of Gratitude’s go to The Custodians of Fela’s Legacy. Uncle Femi Kuti @femiakuti Auntie Yeni Kuti @yeniakuti And Uncle Seun Kuti @bigbirdkuti Thank you for continuing to create opportunities for the next generation of Nigerian Musicians and Artistes to find their voices. I watched Fela Anikulapo Kuti perform as a child. Almost 31 years later, I stood on the same Shrine stage. Full circle. ❤️ With me was, my Number One Superstar GEEXEN @geexn_ who owned that stage as we brought THE FLYING DUTCHMAN to life a song about independence, ownership, and rising again after everything that tried to humiliate, diminish or hold you down. To everyone who put their neck out for people, only to be misunderstood, insulted or made the villain, this one is for you. And to Fela Anikulapo Kuti, three decades later, I returned to where I once watched you, your legacy lives on and your lineage continue to champion the movement of Africa for Africans. Thank you @felabrationng for the opportunity to perform for the first time in a decade. This means a lot to the @loomrooms family. And to our Loom Rooms dance Crew, @mad_about_dance_nigeria MAD ABOUT DANCE, thank you for bringing the movement, energy and life to The Flying Dutchman. You didn’t just dance with us; you helped tell the story. Thank you for showing up and flying with us. ❤️ MAD ABOUT DANCE: @_smallmightykeys The incredible dancers: @simsi_haastrup @_nyx162 We fly together. SHOLA × GEEXEN @geexn_ — THE FLYING DUTCHMAN. You didn’t disappear. You were learning how to fly. by @geexn_
