Started off the first weekend of the year right at @brandichun’s class! Felt so good dancin to Goodies like I was a kid again 😭💜ngl it’s been a tough couple months tryna find joy in the small things, had a handful of wins that didn’t feel like winning, but dancing whether in my apartment or at the studio tends to bring it back for a moment, however it doesn’t take away the fact that Palestinians have been slaughtered and tortured the last 95 days and we continue to let it happen (how lucky we are to have the FREEDOM to turn a blind eye 😒). I’m drained but I can’t imagine how tired Palestine must be after years and years of occupation. May Gaza heal. May Palestinian children live to enjoy childhood and live to see a free Palestine 🍉 by @gelllyv

I would cry every time I came back home to visit you, but now you can visit me whenever you want. I felt you in the breeze today. It was strong, but safe, like you. In that moment, I was inaudibly crying in Theo’s arms while my neighbors were blasting I Wanna Dance With Somebody. I couldn’t help but think you were talking to me - to dance with somebody who loves me. I’m glad you got to meet him the last time you and I were together. I wish I had finished crocheting that beanie for you. Just wanted to show you that what you taught me so long ago never left me. Thankfully, I have all my life to show you that your love and your lessons stay close to my heart. Say hi to Tatay for me. It warms my heart to know my dear grandparents are together again.
