CW: Black Deaths in Custody

As promised Gelmag gives $2 for each Dreams magazine produced for this project.

The Dhajowa Foundation is a very important organisation, and one we strongly believe in, that fights to stop Black Deaths in Custody.

To date, there have been at least 500 Black deaths in custody since the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody in 1991. Not one conviction has been made, not one police officer, jail, or system held accountable for these crimes.

We can't forget we are still living under a colonial rule that is violent and aggressive to our First Nations people.

Please give generously to this organisation, or any grassroots First Nations group. We can't get comfy just because a new government has won, we all gotta keep working to dismantle this dystopia and keep going.

All day and everyday, Always Was and Always Will Be Aboriginal Land 🖤💛❤️

Summer has now well and truly left us (did it ever even arrive tho?), so we'd like to send it off with your stories.

What have you been up to? Scaled an abandoned building? Started a creative project? Had a special moment with your friends?? Tell us in 12 photos or less.

It doesn't have to be positive! Life is not always easy, especially these days, so share with us anything you like.
