Where does a single website legally get billions of leaked passwords? 🕵️‍♂️

Have I Been Pwned doesn’t just scrape random dark web forums. The data actually flows from four distinct sources:
• Public clear-web paste sites (like Pastebin)
• Threat intelligence researchers tracking Telegram channels
• Direct feeds from law enforcement agencies (FBI, UK’s NCA, Europol)
• Infostealer malware logs scraped from infected personal computers

🔒 But is it actually safe to type your real password into the search bar of that website?
