I had a baby and I named her Daisy and I cannot believe she’s already been here a month. Time has passed in a totally unreal way. Learning a newborn, recovering postpartum, not being pregnant anymore, becoming a mom! It’s all been such a whirlwind. But no matter how surreal it all feels - it’s hands down been the best part. Daisy is a total dream 🩷 by @gemadigan

Dale brought me on a little getaway to Ithaca to ask me to be his wife. He is my very best friend and the best man I’ve ever known. I have never felt so seen, loved, understood, protected or taken care of as I do when I’m with him. I’m the luckiest girl in the world, and am so grateful and excited to spend our lives together!!!

One year. One whole year of pivoting, transforming, reflecting, developing, and missing my mommy. My creator, my confidant, best friend, biggest cheerleader and biggest hater all wrapped into one beautiful bundle of crazy, goofy, passionate, and uniquely her, Kelly. She isn’t at home waiting for me after work with a fresh bowl pack and the latest pop culture gossip, tiktok conspiracy, or hip hop drop. She’s not texting me asking me where I am, who I’m with, what I’m doing, when I’ll be home, and if I’ll be bringing anything for her. She’s not vacuuming at 8am with her cup of joe from “Kelly’s Café” and “coffee shop jazz” playing from the living room TV, or jamming in the Sunday morning studio. She isn’t here for me to always disagree with just for the shits of it, or to pick little (or big) fights with because we both know that we can take our frustrations out on one another and always move past it, bc that’s just what moms and daughters do. She isn’t here for me to ask her what the fuck a union is, how to invest in a 401k, what nursing position to accept, or what bachelors programs to apply to. But she is somehow in every single ray of sunshine, every walk in the park, every bong rip, and every barbecue chicken nacho. She’s in my cheekbones, my nail beds, my cupid’s bow, and my weird rounded chest. She’s in my music taste, my love for soft pretzels, my dilly dally nature, and my need for a full 8 hours of rest. She’s in my commitment to positive language, my intuition, my “tuned in, tapped in, turned on”, and in every stick of palo and deck of tarot in our basement. She’s in every meal I make, every Poland spring water bottle, every snuggle with my pups, and every belly laugh with my sis. She is with me everywhere, all the time, no matter what. Some days I feel spited, shorted, stiffed. But most days I just feel so fucking grateful. Thank you Mommy. Mad props ❤️ by @gemadigan
