I really don’t have any words. The “arcade” on the official website of the White House. @whitehouse continues to reach depths I didn’t think existed even in the lowest rung of Hell. I went to the website because as I saw this news, I was convinced it was fake. And I’m not sure why or how I allowed myself to believe it was too much, even for this administration. It was worse. Worse than I had even imagined. “Zombie Siege”… opening one of the games to see an Asian character & losing for “zero deported”. Whatever you think of your immigrant neighbors, what’s happening to them is a human rights violation. Not a game. They aren’t zombies or prey to be hunted. Shame to the White House & shame to everyone who allows their fears to turn into blanket permission for violence against our neighbors. by @gemcollecther

I love starting my year off celebrating David Nassi. The man with the talent, the looks, the style, and the adoration of his little ladies. He does so much, helps so many people, and I feel like in a way, he’s just getting started. I’ve had a front row seat to the @gemcollector show for almost 16 years now, and I can’t help but admire him a little more each day. Many, many years from now, when I’m as old as you are honey, I hope to have achieved even just half as much. Blessings on blessings for our North Star ⭐️ by @gemcollecther

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles treats critically ill and injured patients regardless of their family’s ability to pay. They do not ask about or discriminate against patients based on immigration status. This awe-inspiring nonprofit institution does not turn any patient away. They have been creating hope and building healthier futures since 1901.

CHLA provides specialized, compassionate care and services for everything from broken bones to the rarest diseases; from homelessness to gender non-conformity.

Places like this incredible hospital need our support to continue their life-saving work more than ever right now.

With this gorgeous aquamarine donated so generously by legendary lapidary + gem dealer @gemcollector and brilliant biggest-hearted @gemcollecther, I wanted to create a piece that honors and celebrates the soul of the Children’s Hospital: The superhero staff, and the superhero patients and parents they serve.

Snakes represent transformation, renewal and rebirth.

In Ancient Greece, snakes were totems of healing and medicine.

A symbol of fertility, immortality and eternity, snakes were seen as guardians of the afterlife and worn as icons for protection.

Channeling the snake’s ability to shed its skin, this ring is a symbol of the cyclical nature of life; a talisman of regeneration and strength in leaving the past behind, and embracing the present with hope, in building a healthier future just like @getinvolvedchla ✨

The fires have been personal and difficult for a lot of us. The destruction is so much bigger than one single issue.
