At Greater Europe Mission, discipleship means walking alongside people as they grow in their relationship with Jesus, through intentional relationships, everyday life, and God’s Word.

Across Europe, GEM workers are investing in lives, equipping believers, and multiplying disciples who make disciples.

NEW STORY ✨

What does it mean to seek the good of the city you call home? For Luke, it means caring for the people around you, making space for those who feel overlooked, and creating a place where no one has to feel alone.

A GEM Worker in France writes:

"I recently spent the day at the house of a man from my church that I am discipling. We had good food, good conversations, and spent some time with his wife and son.

A few days later, he wrote to thank me for spending time with him and talked about how much he loves me and my family. How much he appreciates my kids and the way I parent them. He also mentioned that he noticed my patience with his son and realized that I have a much more gentle approach to parenting than he grew up with, and he would like to improve his parenting to better reflect what he sees in my family.

While we also talked a lot about God and our church, I think the most impactful moment for him was while we were playing video games with his son.

I’m discovering more and more that discipleship isn’t a series of Bible studies, it is really entering into someone’s world and being fully yourself. When we do that, our faith and our relationship with Jesus take on a tangible expression that others can follow." by @gemission
