This year I’m choosing to knit something lovely by one of my absolute favourite designers, @dominiquetrad

I own so many of her shawls, and I’ve knitted quite a few, so I know first hand how well they’re written and tested, so it’s an easy choice to support a local designer. I’ve even bought a couple of new ones because eventually I’ll knit them all. (And of course I’m going to use wool from @conventandchapel )

It’s that kind of morning, but I did get out early and do my weeks trimming of the overgrown shrubs. My green bin is full, my compost bin has been tumbled and green added, and I mowed & edged the front yard.

Indie and Casper think I deserve tea and knitting time now.

Perfect #podcastknitting
Enjoying the @woolshit_podcast (except the knitting in the news EWWW!!)

This is the Dabee Diamond blanket, 14 balls of Heirloom merino magic 8ply. A diagonal garter stitch piece and I’m finally at the halfway point (275 stitches across). On the home stretch now with decreasing.
