Fostering this sweet angel has been the greatest gift! 💝
I can’t even begin to describe how much joy he has brought back into my life 🙌🧚🪬✨ and it’s been so rewarding to see him come out of his shell and learn that the world around him can be full of wonder and joy and fun and love 🥰

If you love animals but can’t commit to adopting, then maybe fostering is a good option for you too! 🤩 I’m so glad I made the decision to foster - can’t wait to do it again 🙏

Some great shelters to reach out to if you want to get into fostering:

Groundwork and clear communication 🙌

I’m still working on keeping my feet still, and taking these videos and practicing helps me understand my own body movements and patterns - it’s truly incredible how horses are mirrors of our own energy!

This type of training not only benefits him, but it’s a deep somatic therapy for me as well 🙌

Liberty training with Saxo 🥰 I am learning so much from him 😍
Natural horsemanship has brought me more in touch with myself and shown me greater depths of emotional wellbeing than I ever thought possible. Horses are healing 💖🧚✨

This is always the best part of my day 🥰🙌 taken in Belgium by @gemmawinterrose

I can’t believe it’s almost 2026! ❤️‍🔥

2025 was a big year for growth, discipline, and following my passions 🥳🙌 I launched Akroti tea, made some fun new art, met incredible new friends that I’ll have for life, reconnected with old friends, explored more of the world, and committed to learning together with the most amazing horse in the world 💘

It hasn’t been the easiest year, but easy is never fun anyways 😜 I’m looking forward to all the fun challenges and blessings ahead in 2026 and I hope you are too! 🧚🫶💫✨ by @gemmawinterrose

Saxo used to be a show jumping horse, so he is very used to having a bit in his mouth. However, he is used to having a lot of contact on the reins, so I am working with him on getting his signals from the movements in my body rather than the reins. ✨

He is so sensitive and smart 💘 sometimes he’s already a few steps ahead of me, so I have to have a plan in place and progressive training methods every day or else he gets bored. 🥱

This process has been one of the most eye opening and simultaneously peace-giving things in my life. I wish I could tell him in his own language how much his presence has done for me. I just hope I am doing the same for him in return ❤️ taken in Belgium by @gemmawinterrose
