September 4, 2023 was a day I was not prepared for. Although it has been two weeks I'm just starting to grapple with the fact that you are gone. To accept that my big cousin who I thought of and loved more as a brother than anything has parted from us. We've argued, we've cried together, we've laughed together, danced together, sung together, worshiped together, lived together and loved together. I have had time to think and reflect on who you ARE as person, and the joy you brought into my life. The effort you made to see me as you attended Morehouse College I will forever be grateful for, you never told me you were too busy and always made time for me. You took me to my first highschool party, stayed up late nights with me doing foolishness, made ridiculously unhealthy midnight snacks with me, gave me relationship advice and always listened to my goofy highschool drama and I will forever cherish those moments and appreciate you for just being there. I appreciate you for being who you are because you are one of the greatest people I have ever known and will ever know. I am honored to have been able to watch you blossom in your 20 years, honored to say that you are my family, honored to have experienced your love, your laugh, your thoughts and our time together. I will never be able to express the amount of love I have for you. I will always remember your hugs, your smile, your laugh and YOU. Love your baby cousin,
