April 2026: rough month. Still had my silly lil crafts to keep the scaries away(ish). I got a pin loom from the Midwest Fiber Festival! I got some other goodies but I’m waiting for one in the mail that I needed dyed (just got the shipping notification wooooo).

I’m challenging myself to work through some of the yarn I have caked and then work through my stash because I’ve got some great patterns I’m hoping to work up in the coming months. Honestly, I’m hoping for some positive changes in the coming months because my burn out is ✨severe✨. Fabulous By MEEK has been a great “get through the day” song. Highly recommend.

Mar 2026: Happy Spring, y’all! 🌱✨

It’s been another rather bad brain month, so I’m just going to be as kind and gentle as I can to myself and those around me. Life is reallyyyyy life-ing at the moment. Always happy to listen and yap about feelings - it’s good to get things out, y’know?

Here are my makes for this month:
Scooby doo vest (technically finished April 1 but I’m counting it anyways) yarn is from the 2025 advent from @creation_miss_couture 🤎🩵🤎
A green crochet geode for my rock loving bestie @stlfibers (happy birthday AGAIN!)💎🫶🏻✨
The start of a Tunisian crochet cowl where I’m going to use fluff for the first time!!! Remember me pattern by @carijehlikartist and fluff from the very kind @foxgoddess108.💚💙🩷
Finished and gifted the purple variegated scarf that I started last month for a birthday present. I don’t really know if the person liked it all that much, but I’m really proud of it. The pattern is the maple wing scarf by @tzigns💜🩷💙

ANYWAYS - the pouch was freehanded and it was the first time I’ve even installed a zipper or done that much hand sewing - I was tasked with making a pouch to store cordsmiths and I think I did! (Peep picture 6) this bad boy can hold at least 3!

I think it’d be fun to do more swaps - so if you’re interested, let’s chat! ✨

February 2026: aka bad brain month™️✨

I fortunately was still able to keep my head attached and make some cool shit.

I finished, and gifted a Remember Me Cowl by @carijehlikartist. 💖 Still working on my art trade goodies - started some sunset squares for a zipper pouch!

I made my 3rd and 4th yarns ever - still learning a lot and having fun. Also holding hand spun yarn like a fish brings me an immense amount of joy - I will not be taking any questions and will likely be posting more yarn fish photos in the future.🎣✨

My birthday was this month (hence the pretty cake) and I got two new craft books which I’m SO excited to use! I also was gifted a boom loom, which I’ve been playing a bit with.

The cake was vegan and gluten free - chocolate with raspberry jam, vanilla buttercream and rainbow sprinkles. 🍰✨

I started working on a Maple Wing Scarf by @tzigns (will finish up soon because it’s for a March birthday). 💜

I love y’all, and I hope you’re holding up the best you can. I’m here if y’all need to chat.

Remember you are not alone, you are loved, and go drink some water - you’re probably dehydrated. 💖

January 2026 makes. ❄️

the state of the world….is a sh*t sandwich. I don’t have all the right words, but I am going fight for, provide resources, and support my community.

Speaking of community, I started @craft.t4t to start building a trans-centered creative community for all. It’s been pretty cool, and I’ve already made some friends and a discord (welcome to all!).

I was able to start exploring some new crafts though which has been SO fun, namely spinning and weaving!

I got a EEW 6.1 for Christmas last year, and I watched a bunch of YouTube and have some books… and just.. FAFO. It’s been so fun and I have many more ideas for yarn! Also, not pictured, I got a blending board as an early me-to-me birthday present. I also got fiber… but we won’t talk about that 🫣😬

I got an upcycled loom from a class I took at a local upcycling creative space near me (perennial). I’ve been playing with color, texture and shapes. I’ve been using scraps kindly gifted to me, so it’s really what the yarn wants to become. It’s fun and I hope to make more things in the future.

I’m still chugging along on a Tunisian crochet cowl - it’ll get done… eventually. Hopefully before it warms up!

Right as the year started, I finished a Tunisian crochet bag test. It was a lot of fun, and now that it’s lined it’s now a small project bag!

My partner and I made vegan earl grey sugar cookies (which are currently my favorite cookie). I got to share them with some folks at work and they were really wholeheartedly enjoyed which rocked.

Anyways, thanks for reading - I love y’all and I hope you are staying safe, warm and in community.

2025: many craft, such wow 🤩

In true audhd craft goblin fashion: please enjoy my lovingly-made cringe photo collages of a bunch of the fun projects I had the privilege of making this year (lots of fiber friends not pictured). If you want to know more about a specific pattern please let me know! I’m always happy to yap about crafts!🧶✨

This was a year of FIRSTS for me:
- started my silly little craftsagram
- purchased indie had dyed yarn🧶
- attended a fiber festival🐑
- successfully completed crochet pattern tests✅
- LOTS of new crochet techniques and stitches - HELLO POST STITCHES✨
- Tunisian crochet project (actually did TWO pattern tests… thanks @justtheworsted for the trust!)✨
- Sample item for an indie dyer (thank you @fleurangeapparel you’re the best!)🧶🫶🏻
- Properly swatched and crafted a garment that met gauge💅🏻 SLAY
- freehanded something!!!!

2025… a true roller coaster of a year.🥴🎢 iykyk

With everything going on in the world, I am exceedingly grateful for this little craft community I’ve been fortunate enough to start and grow this year🫶🏻🌱✨

Here’s to 2026! Going to put some lowkey things I’m manifesting for the next year before I forget:
- learning how to spin yarn!!! (I’ve got books, fiber and an e spinner… and a healthy dose of gay audacity)
- playing more with color and texture with my fiber crafts!!!
- USE THY STASH, PUNK!!!
- MAKING MORE WEARABLES PLS N THANK YOU!!!
- Trying new fibers both in spinning and in pre-made yarn!!!
- Starting my sheep passport for the livestock conservancy!!!
- Continuing to find joy by living authentically!!!

Sorry to disappear - life has been life-ing. Here’s what I’ve been making and what I have planned:

1. Working on a button up vest using some GORGEOUS yarn from @creation_miss_couture 🫶🏻
2. Finished the Remember me cowl (Tunisian crochet) by @carijehlikartist 10/10 would recommend!
3. Made more hedgehogs from @willow.andwild to gift to some friends!
4. Working on a freehanded herringbone HDC cowl for my partner! In House of Leaves yarn by @exlibrisfibers
5. Orange wizard frog in progress! Base pattern from @moonbugcrochet
6. Admire the squish mail I snagged from destash. It’s Grinchussy on Squrim sock base by @undercover_otter

Plans:
Finish variegated cowl
Make progress on art trade goodies (currently making an orange wizard frog)
Squeeze in a little pattern test over the winter holiday
I have some more cowls to work on too. (And lots of pretty yarn headed my way!!!)

Finished the Six of Pentacles shawl by @i.knit.u.knot recently and finally got around to taking a nice picture of it!🤩

I didn’t really think I was much of a shawl person, but I think this pattern changed my mind!

This was a fun project, and it was the perfect accessory to take with me on a cruise (I wanted to be dramatic, okay?).

Made with a 5mm hook and OOAK yarn from @ruby_and_roses_yarn ✨

I have more fun stuff planned and I can’t wait to make some progress and share with y’all!🫶🏻

Happy fall, y’all! Let’s manifest some cooler weather - please!!!! It’s time for crispy leaves and apple cider please and thank you.🍂🍎🍏✨

Here are a few recent FOs I’ve made! I also have a big ol’ pile of WIPs that will eventually get done but we’re not going to talk about that…🫣

Wolfton! My little wolf-y lumberjack lad 🐺🪵✨ (with his little work jacket!!!!) Pattern was JUST released today by @moonbugcrochet. ID a small crochet plush grey and white wolf that is wearing a tan jacket, brown boots and is holding an axe.

I made the cutest cherry blossom coin purse by @red_panda_crochets. 🌸✨ Sparkly beads are now a core part of my personality - I don’t make the rules. ID: a crochet grey square pouch with a berry flower and yellow center. It has leave green peaking out behind the flower and a green cord with pink sparkly star beads.

I made a cute little beaded bat fidget by @willow.andwild for a friend in their favorite colors since they are moving away. 🦇🩶💜🖤✨ID: a dark grey crochet bat with purple and silver beads on its wings.

Finally, my cute little lad Finnegan. 🦊🌿🍄✨ He was done a few weeks ago but he deserves a square too! His little scarf and basket are so dang cute!!! Pattern is also by @moonbugcrochet.
