PROGRESS : My’ Kel Jenkins @heemkel

With his 6’6 wiry frame, My’Kel has always been a high athleticism, midrange assassin. The evolving of his ball handling, which enhanced his ball control and poise. It creates opportunities for him to showcase offensively his capabilities of making plays for not only himself but others. That will add to the versatility and passion he brings on both sides of the ball.

Here’s a few clips of the evolution. Through his consistency, he will be in the conversation as one of the TOP JUCO players nationally coming out in the 2026-27 year.

This isn’t training, this is DEVELOPMENT.

The focus is consistency, not the results.

🚨 Player Spotlight 🚨

Damon “Redd” Thompson Jr. is poised for a breakout season at Mount St. Mary’s.

After a strong sophomore campaign as Longwood’s sixth man, Redd averaged:

🏀 10.3 PPG
🎯 40% FG
🎯 32.9% from 3
🤝 2.0 APG
💪 1.6 RPG
⏱️ 20 MPG

A proven shooter and natural scorer, Redd is a guard who understands the game. While he’s capable of putting points on the board in bunches, his first instinct is to create opportunities for his teammates. His combination of elite shooting, controlled pace, high basketball IQ, and ability to make the right read makes him one of the more complete backcourt players to watch this season.

📈 Expect a big year at The Mount.
