Making my grand return to my foodie account with the visit to @kubochicago !!!

WOW! What an amazing experience. If you do not know, I am half Filipino. And at Kubo, there is the kamayan boodle experience. Kamayan is where you eat with your hands. It’s very traditional Filipino. Everything was so delicious and there was SO MUCH food. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. My mom had been wanting to come here for such a long time, and I’m so happy we got to do this for her. As well as showing my best friend some of my culture and have foods. If you ever want to try, I highly suggest making this reservation!!!! And do not skip the halo-halo for dessert!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to come back. Salamat po!!!!🇵🇭🥰❤️🥂 by @gems.noms

For my 26th birthday this year, I finally went to try Roji. And wow. I need to go back. What an experience. I booked myself for the lunch omakase, and it was phenomenal. Every single bite was better than the next. I also really liked it because it forced me to try new fish I normally wouldn’t go for. The chef was so kind and knowledgeable. While I may not remember everything she said because I was chatting with the people who also reserved lunch, I can guarantee she knows her stuff. I can’t wait to come back for a dinner experience!! by @gems.noms

The Foss Fam had been telling me about Kitchen Social, and how I need to try it for so long. And we finally went together on my last day of grad school. This meal was right before my final capstone presentation. I was so nervous, and I could barely take my mind off of the presentation. But I’m so thankful to have the Foss family as my second family here. They’re the best and so supportive, especially when I need my parents. So this meal was special because they really gave me the encouragement I needed to finish strong, and it was honestly pretty healthy too. Local find!! Carl’s Deli is in Hyde Park on Observatory, and I wish I known about it sooner. What a great little local spot. Look how STAAAACKED that sandwich is. I can’t wait to come back all summer long for lunch, and enjoy it by my pool. taken in Carl's Deli by @gems.noms

Breakfast with my family is probably one of my favorite ways to spend time together. First Watch, while it is a chain, is probably one of the only place where I like to try new items. I like what I like, and stick with it a majority of the time. But I like trying new things here because they’re usually pretty solid with their descriptions and turn out to be really yummy. This was featured menu item for Spring. I think it was the carne asada hash bowl. I really love a chimichurri sauce so this was right up my alley. taken in First Watch - Kenwood by @gems.noms

More Denver posts! This place was such a treat. Especially the green goddess roll (i think that’s the name of it)!!! I really appreciated the different take on sushi that wasn’t so far off that it’s weird. It was very yummy and creative. Finally getting caught up with my foodie posts now that i am a masters degree holder! Wooooo!!! These lovely bagel shots were from when i visited Hannah for Spring Break. Corner Dumpling House!! While they don’t take reservations, it is worth the wait. When you enter the restaurant you can see them hand making each of the dumplings. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of their menu options! by @gems.noms
