A lot of people think career growth is just about getting the next title, earning more, or figuring out the “perfect” path.

But sometimes, it’s really about building a life that still feels like yours outside of work 🥰

You’re allowed to want ambition and balance. Growth and peace. Structure and freedom 🙌🏾

Hiring season is coming 👀 Are you actually ready for it?

Getting hired isn’t just about finding the right opening. It’s about being ready when the right opportunity shows up.

Save this as your hiring season checklist. ✨ taken in Fort Lauderdale / Miami Area by @gemsfromjai

There was a season I only prayed about the life I’m living now. 🙏🏾

The career that fits me. Work that feels like purpose, not just a paycheck. Waking up excited instead of dreading Monday.

It didn’t happen overnight. It took clarity, patience, and a lot of aligned steps when the random ones felt easier.

If you’re still in the praying season, keep going. It’s working even when you can’t see it yet. 🤍 taken in Fort Lauderdale / Miami Area by @gemsfromjai

Before you update your resume, figure out what’s really draining you. 👀

After 15 years in recruiting, I’ve seen plenty of people switch companies only to feel the same six months later.

Doing the same job search on repeat and expecting a different outcome… we need to talk. 💀

Be honest: what’s one job search habit you know you need to drop? 👇🏾 taken in Florida, USA by @gemsfromjai

Gen Z asking Millennials to retire already 😭😂

But here’s the thing about careers: there’s no generation that has it all figured out.

The workplace keeps changing—and the real advantage is knowing how to adapt, stay relevant, and keep growing no matter what generation you belong to.

So… retire? Not yet. Evolve? Always. 😂 by @gemsfromjai

Real talk: when's the last time a career goal actually excited you?

Not "get promoted." Not "make more money" (though yes, that too).

I mean a goal that makes you sit up a little straighter when you say it out loud.

That's where aligned steps start. Random moves keep you busy; aligned ones keep you moving forward ❤️

Your next move doesn’t need everyone’s approval. It needs to make sense for you...

I’ve sat across the table from hundreds of candidates who turned down the “obvious” next step because it wasn’t actually right for them and watched them get side-eyed for it by people who were never going to live with the decision anyway.

If your gut is pulling you somewhere that doesn’t look impressive on paper yet, follow it this is your story 😏
