The Conjure is BACK with another edition of our frightening all hallows eve event:

HOOCHIE HALLOWEEN, a LGBTQ costume party!

Our annual night of thrills, chills and debauchery is sure to be something to remember.

You know The Conjure doesnt play about Halloween and we want all the witches, ghouls and gays to come out and have a very scary good time.

We are bringing back our $100 costume contest, no time for half steppin if you got your eye on the prize.

So come in your best and most creative costume and let's dance the night away!

Local DJs are The Conjure hometeam @gemynii and @Femithefemme as well as the baddies of @sexondeckss

We have a special guest DJ coming all the way from Texas you may have seen KILLING the festival circuit and going viral with killer tracks and mixing they ass off. Please welcome @_kuntress for a North Carolina debut.

Don't worry we defintely have a couple of.....um.....surprises for the night. 😈

Daylight savings is on halloween night this year giving you extra time to party for your buck!

Wow what a weekend!

Friday I had SPICE at @rubiesonfivepoints with the homie @dj_himbo which was poppin!

Saturday I was the wedding DJ!

Sunday I was on the rooftop of the @thedurhamhotel

Each thing was so different but I’m grateful for all the ways I get to play music for my people!!

It’s been almost a year since I was let go from my non-profit 9–5 because of budget cuts. I didn’t know then what it would look like to support myself as a full-time DJ while also being a caregiver and a new home owner. This community has helped me do it.

Every time you book me, come to a paid party, share a flier, recommend me to a friend, or leave a tip, you’re helping this queer, Black, fat, autistic femme survive. I feel that support, and I’m so grateful for the love and opportunities that keep coming my way.

Entrepreneur life is hard. Most days, I feel like I’m working without a day off. But then I look out at the dance floor and see people letting go, finding each other, and making memories to the music. Those moments remind me why I keep going.

Thank you for making it possible for me to keep doing this. Truly.

And remember to PAY BLACK FEMMES✨✨✨✨
