Nationwide Genesis Coupe Meet

@forbiddengen hosted a great event
.
We drove our 710whp fully built Genesis coupe 2.0t from Toronto, Ontario to Dallas, Texas & back in less than 72 hours. What an experience to be able to do this and meet a bunch of people that have just been on a screen for years. Would definitely do this again, happy I didn’t tow the car now I’m confident to take it anywhere.

First time at Shannonville drifting
.
Dkar did good no mechanical issues, tapped a tire tho some body damage but eh it’s the dkar this is what it’s for, car takes a beating and still wants more!
.
For ones that want to turn their geny into a drift car… are you ready to total the car? That’s your answer.
As someone that’s new to drifting, u can’t be worried about damaging the car or you will not learn new things
.
No hydro, no ebrake, soft brake pedal, no angle, stock control arms, minimal clutch kicks, welded diff… just an fbo bk1, step by step as I improve i will upgrade the car. That tire slap showed me why I need an ebrake, was going too fast into the turn and couldn’t reduce the momentum, slapped the tire fell off track a bit and kept going. That’s the game
.
Couldn’t find the 360 camera so not much content of the day, lots of improvement actually started to link some turns and light up the tires
.
More and more to come on this drifting venture, we want to find what’s best for these cars and what they’re capable of
