Following your shadow....

Shadow work is exploring your hidden, repressed self (the "shadow"). The parts like anger, shame, or trauma you deny so you may better understand why you react certain ways.

Ultimately, healing wounds, to become a more whole, authentic person by integrating these disowned traits, not just accepting "bad" or unhealthy behavior, but understanding their root, often finding a positive intent behind negative patterns.

Simply put: how you find the uncomfortable, hidden stuff, look at it without judgment, and learn from it to stop being led by it, and move through this life experience in with a better sense of self.

Age of hyperinformation @louisianaliterature

Information doesn't inform.

Hyperinformation refers to an overwhelming abundance of data, especially online via hyperlinks and digital networks, leading to information overload (Infobesity) where it becomes hard to process, discern truth from falsehood, or make decisions, often resulting in confusion, anxiety, and even paralysis rather than enlightenment.

It describes the modern challenge where excessive, fragmented data, including misinformation, clutters our cognitive space, making meaningful understanding difficult despite the vast availability.

Is this a coincidence?

Pesticides can impact estrogen levels and increase the risk of hormone-related cancers:

Estrogen-mimicking pesticides:
Also known as xenoestrogens, these pesticides can increase the risk of hormone-related cancers, such as breast, ovarian, endometrial, testicular, and prostate cancer.

Pesticides that decrease estrogen levels:
Some pesticides can decrease estrogen levels in the body, including heptachlor, lindane, atrazine, and simazine.

Endocrine disruptors:
Pesticides are a type of endocrine disruptor, which are chemicals that can disrupt the body's natural hormones. The endocrine system includes the glands that produce hormones, such as the thyroid, gonads, adrenal, and pituitary.

Other health effects:
Pesticides can also cause other health problems, such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, soft tissue sarcomas, lung cancers, and cancers of the pancreas, stomach, liver, and kidney.

@imuru.vision. Daily reminders. The journey of self-discovery is ongoing. Awareness is empowering because you can not evolve when you don't see what needs to change.

Dopamine is free, but it matters who your supplier is! We have to be so intentional. Consider your source. It can be hard work because we are bombarded by stimulus.
