I’ll be happy when ______.

We all have something we’re tempted to put in the blank: a circumstance we want to change, a prayer we want answered, a season we want to end. But Philippians reminds us that joy doesn’t have to wait for life to get easier.

In Jesus, we have grace to look back on, a Father to look up to, people to look around at, and an eternity to look forward to. Whatever is in your blank, don’t put your joy on the other side of it.

A new sermon series starts this Sunday!! 👀

The apostle Paul wrote Philippians while he was in prison and yet joy runs through the entire letter. His joy wasn’t rooted in his circumstances; it was rooted in Jesus.

In our new series, Joy: A Study in Philippians, we’ll walk through the entire letter and discover how the gospel shapes our relationships, purpose, character, perseverance, peace, and contentment.
