March 28th 2024 made 365 days since my dad departed this earth. Time is not promised because of how precious it is. I thank God for every laugh and cry i got to experience with this man. As time goes on i realize how in this life we have no choice but to continue on. The thing is i’ll never figure out an answer which causes complete defeat to my mental. But while looking for answers and reasons I am able to find real reasons to why he was MY father and how much of a role he played in my life and for that my brain can breathe a bit.

Thank you, for it all. I think one thing that’s going to forever eat me up is never telling you thank you for everything you did for me in this life. I loved you more than 99% of people in my life and to know that you are gone has to be the heaviest weight on my heart. I keep crossing this though of never speaking to you again, never laughing, or coming to my rescue again ….. and it tournaments my brain. There are people in this world that grow up without their fathers and there are other people who’s fathers walk out of their lives, but for me you was taken brutally from this life. I will never know the real reason that coward could kill a father of 6 and allow for your last words to be “I don’t want to die”. I do know whatever pain you was fighting in this life you are now free of. Daddy i love you and i genuinely miss you, i need you right now because my brain in underwater….. i feel like I’m dreaming that’s why I’m okay on the surface because i honestly think this nightmare will end soon and I’ll wake up.

THANK YOU DADDY, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

Recently a friend told me she never grew up with her parents and all her life she’s only seen unhealthy relationship between people and their parents, it wasent until she met me in college and met you that she knew when she has kids she would love them unconditionally like you showed her. Daddy i hope you have found peace and have gained your wings and are soaring free. I can’t wait to meet you in the next lifetime, for than i can scream, laugh, dance,cry and sleep peacefully like i did before March 28. Until then i will be cherishing all the love we shared. You gave sooooo much to me that i wasent able to give you in your short lifetime. I will always and i mean always love you. Death did us part.
