Wheat or weed?

Atop a rock I stand
a watchman
grown impatient
fires rise throughout
the land
soldiers slumber
at the call

What is the price of honor?
spirit willing
flesh is weak

Will this iniquity
be atoned for
only in death?

Plead for strength
overcome comfort
trample fear

Peace within
before
peace external

Wheat or weed?
time will tell

beneath the shroud of darkness
a stirring of ancients
debts called

in fear economy
priceless is dancing
invaluable is joy

with fool’s hope
a thundering heart
and steady hands

roots hold
as winds
wash over me

Some blessings can’t be measured—only felt. Grateful beyond words for these radiant women and the memories we made. God knew what He was doing when He crossed our paths. Here’s to golden moments, deep laughter, and a life lived with heart. ✨🌹
