Dance is more than movement. It’s storytelling, learning, sharing, and preserving culture through the body. 🤎🥁

Honored to be both an artist and educator. #LatineHeritageMonth #bomba #dancer #bostondance #afrolatina taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @genii.official

Dance + a mom & her daughters! 👯🏽‍♀️ Gia’s second parade dancing alongside her favorite teenagers! ✨ I hear folks tell me all the time, “I don’t know how you do it”. The reality is, I just do this, plus my village is pretty great! 🤷🏽‍♀️ #worklifebalance #betancesparade #momof2 #dancer #educator taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @genii.official

Wake Up The Earth 2026 🌿
We were out in comparsa at this year’s Wake Up The Earth Festival, sharing rhythm, color, and a piece of who we are.

What you saw was more than costume. It was many hours of hands at work. Youth and staff shaping, layering, and transforming simple materials into something alive.

Rooted in the traditional carnival expressions of Cotuí, Dominican Republic, we reimagined platanuses and papeluses through our own lens. Plátano leaves, paper, corn husks, metallic foil. Texture, sound, movement. Tradition in conversation with now.

Catch the HSTF Ambassadors bringing this comparsa to the Museum of Fine Arts on June 20th for America 250. by @genii.official

I could’ve kept the my birthday all to myself but dance is meant to be felt and shared. Teaching this combo, moving my body, and giving that energy right back to the world? That’s my kind of celebration.🎉

Another year, another chance to pour into my passion and invite others into it. 💫

This is what fills me up. This is how I celebrate me. Thank you to @seacoaststilettos for opening up your studio to artists. And thank you to those who attended my birthday class 💃🏽

If I start beatboxing your counts or singing the combo out loud, just know it’s part of the ✨experience✨
