Took a while to post this reflection from an installation series I brought to @lucidityfestival two weeks ago —- so grateful for what festivals do as playgrounds for experimentation in urban design where moments like this can happen! #interactiveart #consciousmom #consciousparentingtools #lucidityfestival #familymusic by @geniusdrums

PSA: bring a Genius Drum on flights so that we can collectively soothe nearby crying babies and make TSA giggle. It fits as a personal item to store below the seat 😇

Just landed back home in the rainy Bay Area after two weeks in the jungles of Costa Rica serving as a peer support volunteer doing harm reduction in the Sanctuary. I am floored by the amount of dedication and love that the rest of this team (and especially the leads) poured into making sure that every single sanctuary guest was supported during their inner crises with care so that any risk of psychological trauma was averted.

I know transformational festivals can be a bit of an oxymoron or cliche, but there is something magical that happens when we push ourselves to live in a liminal space that expands our comfort zones. The norms of socializing and daily habits disappear, and this empty void is a beautiful opportunity that I’m beyond grateful to be able to spend parts of my life in.

Now off to integrate the lessons that come from having an experience that pushed the envelope of my physical, emotional, and mental capabilities 🖊️📚 taken in Envision Festival by @geniusdrums

Had a blast bringing the new Brain Cell Bell and helping @dicrodavis build some gorgeous installations for @deserthearts festival last week! I’ll share some more of the bell soon- it’s an invention/innovation of mine that I’ve been keeping secret for years that I’m finally ready to release into the world.

Going from very long build days straight into a festival of thousands of people was definitely a journey! Creating liminal experiences for others is such an honor and I’m incredibly grateful to be fueled by the love of doing what I do. 💜💚💛🧡❤️‍🔥
