summer '26 recap

here and there and everywhere (except actually mostly at work but that's okay)

I think there's this fear every year of wasting summer, so I was thinking about that and all the things I didn't do this summer and all the places I didn't go.
but I looked back through my camera roll and I realized maybe my definition of "making the most of summer" needs to change. Because what I saw was a summer spent with the people I love most: mondays at emi's, random side quests, random deep convos, and yes many hours at work, but tyj for a job I love. I am so incredibly blessed to get to live this life surrounded by the most amazing people. nothing is wasted with you by @genna4ever_

and that's a wrap!

I’m so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to dual-enroll at psc these past 2 years. God has used psc to shape me and grow me in so many ways. From feeling behind and underqualified, to thriving academically, learning so much, working hard and reaping the benefits, gaining confidence in myself and my abilities, and refining my skill and passion for art.
I’m so grateful for everyone who supported me and helped me along the way!
Special thanks to the art department for seeing my potential and helping me to reach it!
My journey is just starting and although the future feels uncertain and unknown, I feel confident that God will lead me and guide me and help me thrive in this next season as well! Endings are always a little sad, but I’m so excited for all that the future holds! by @genna4ever_

thankful.
I’m so blessed to have been apart of the 2026 psc student art awards show! God has been so good to me and I am so honored by the favor that he has showered on me. From my artwork from last year being chosen to be the face of the show this year, to winning a $250 award, God is in the details, and I am genuinely astounded because I don’t feel like I deserve it. I’m so grateful. Thank you to everyone who supports my art, to my teachers and peers, and friends and family. Although I started as a self-taught artist, I’m so grateful for my time at the psc art department and I truly feel like I would not be the artist I am today without it. As I look towards graduation I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this season and so excited to see where God leads me next.
