There’s a federal election happening next week, and guess what? Young people have the power to shape the future in a big way. 🗳️ But only if we show up.

Across Canada, youth voter turnout has been slipping, even though we make up one of the largest voting blocks. The issues at stake—housing, mental health, climate action—aren’t just talking points, they’re part of our everyday lives. Our voices are essential, even when politics can feel messy or overwhelming.

Here's the thing: youth votes could actually swing this election. Lower engagement means we’re not being fully represented, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. Voting is one of the simplest, most impactful ways to make your voice count.

💜Women United celebrated 10 years! Over the past decade, this collective has raised awareness and over $1 million dollars for programs that uplift women, children, and families across East Ontario. Here’s to 10 years of strength, empowerment, and endless impact!

🔴 In October, we called on the Ontario government to urgently address intimate partner violence, raising awareness of its alarming prevalence in our province. In 2025 we will continue to advocate for the safety of women and gender-diverse people and work together to end the violence.

Reflecting on 2024, we are so grateful for all we’ve achieved together. Here’s to our 2024 accomplishments and to even greater strides in 2025, with you by our side! 🎊 by @gennexteaston
