In October, I worked Advertising Week NY as a manager, built and glazed two sculptures, went to Comic Con for three days, did @sjm.shortplayfest as a four person show with 9 short plays that I wrote in it, worked 7 different event gigs (10 days total) that were outside of my work at The Vino with yesterday's resulting in wearing my uniform shirt over my Morticia Addams dress, gave Harrison as surprise party, got locked out of my apartment twice (one time for over 36 hours) due to issues with the lock itself and needing to get it repaired, took Harrison to see Slam Frank, had 49 rentals come through The Vino & The Cork (some being the same rental but multiple days, like shows with more than one performance), and did a bunch of work to clear out the office at the theater and get it operational. And i still feel like I didn't do enough 😆 by @gennydreadful

Dinner and a show with Harry Bear, because it's still October so it's still his birthday month. by @gennydreadful

A big huge thank you to everyone who came out to see Sex Jokes & Murder!! As announced at the show, it's going to be a PUBLISHED SCRIPT soon, so keep eyes peeled for that. And for those who came to see it, I will absolutely be reaching out soon to get your mailing addresses to send copies 💕 by @gennydreadful

Every once in a while, The Painted Pot has these classes that my impatient ass LOVES, because you get to sculpt and glaze in the same day. Normally you go, you sculpt, you wait like 10ish days for the piece to be fully fired and dry and ready, and then you paint 'er up, and then wait another 10ish days to take it home in your grubby little hands. But these classes, usually around the holidays, have you sculpt and then glaze right after, adding like 5 layers of glaze (or...in my case? Like one or two big goopy layers 🫣) instead of the regular 3, directly onto the wet clay and then you get it back faster. And look at my little tea light candle holder! I love her so much 🌿 by @gennydreadful

We've got one more performance of October's round of SJM!! Wednesday at 7pm, come through to The Vino Theater to see the four of us play like so many roles. by @gennydreadful

The very first ever Sex Jokes & Murder back in 2018, it was a small group of actors doing a bunch of short plays. And then I kept writing more short plays. And then I turned it into a twice-yearly festival where I could get audience feedback. And now, me and @irelandfc3 and @dan_finegold and @harrison_learns_to_draw are doing like nine shorts, and you have THREE chances to see 'em: Oct 19th - Oct 21st. Tickets are available on the Sour Grapes Productions website at sourgrapesproductions.com/tickets 🎟️ by @gennydreadful

I move too fast for photos during this one, but SJM this round has a scene in it that is genuinely one of my favorites, but no one has ever picked it for the competition version so it hasn't been done since like 2018? The mine adaptation has been in Silent But Deadly for years and years, but this version came first! We open Monday, tickets available on our website at sourgrapesproductions.com/tickets 🎟️ by @gennydreadful

My chips and dip bowl is ready 💕 Harrison's looks so cool! by @gennydreadful

Let's GOOOOOO!!! @sjm.shortplayfest runs next week Monday - Wednesday. We've got TEN shorts on here, some that no one has ever chosen for the festival so unless you saw em back in 2018 they'll be new to you. Amazing team, but I'm biased. Grab your tickets on the Sour Grapes Productions website at sourgrapesproductions.com/tickets 🎟️ by @gennydreadful

Last day of @newyorkcomiccon and I'm ready to sleep for about eight days. Awesome time though 💕 by @gennydreadful
