The Next Generation of Collecting.
💥 Live breaks coming soon!

Collecting has always been a big part of my life. For me, it’s about more than the cards - it’s the excitement of the chase, the people you share it with, and the memories you make along the way.

That’s why we’re building Gen One. I can’t wait to share it with you this December. by @genonecollect

Mike Trout is launching Generation One Collect, a new sports collectibles company that will begin with live card breaking, but plans to expand into original content and other experiences involving athletes and collectors.

Mark DeVita, Operations Manager for The Trout Group, said the goal is to bring together live breaks, premium content, and athlete involvement to create a more connected experience for collectors.

Additionally, Trout wants to emphasize the importance of collecting to the younger generation and is doing so by launching the company with the First Rip! 👏 by @genonecollect

Hundreds of young ballplayers. One unforgettable First Rip.

Powered by @topps every camper opened a pack of cards alongside Mike, to celebrate the community launch of Generation One Collect.

For some, it was their first taste of collecting. For others, another chance to chase a favorite player. Together, they shared the excitement of seeing what was inside.

Campers also took home extra packs to open with friends or family members — because the best part of collecting is sharing it. by @genonecollect

Every Card Has a Story.

Imagine opening a pack with someone you love and pulling the ultimate card.

That’s exactly what happened when Mike Trout opened a pack of Bowman Chrome cards with his son, Beckham.

Inside? His own autographed rookie card.

And the best part might have been Beckham’s reaction. A huge smile, pure excitement, and top loaders ready to go.

More Than Just a Card.

Every collector knows the feeling. Finding a card you’ve been chasing, adding something special to your collection, or simply appreciating the story behind it.

For Mike Trout, collecting has always been about more than the cards themselves.

It’s that passion for the hobby that helped inspire Generation One Collect.
